Mariangela met us at the door but clearly had no idea we were coming. Still, she welcomed us warmly and brought us into her sitting room, where there was a lovely fire burning in the fireplace, and poured us a glass of wine while she called the website to sort out the confusion. She had our room made up while we waited, and then, because it was late, cooked a delicious supper for us herself! Over the next few days she offered expert advice on things to do, places to visit, and restaurants in the area, and fortified us each morning with a delicious breakfast. When we departed she sent us off with a home baked orange cake, a traditional gift of the season."

The hotel mediated the possibility of renting a car to the sea. He also provided us with a car from and to the airport. This place is really beautiful and peaceful.
