Lemon Tree Resort, Thimphu, Bhutan ★★★

📍 Hangkuna, Taba, Thimphu

"My stay at Lemon Tree Resort, Thimphu was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled atop a serene hill just 16 minutes from the town, the location offers the perfect escape for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. The views are breathtaking, and the setting allows you to truly unwind and connect with nature. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the incredible hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Every single team member was courteous, warm, and extremely helpful, making us feel right at home. A very special mention to Sherab, whose attention to detail and genuine care made my stay even more memorable. Her dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable. If you’re planning a trip to Bhutan and looking for a peaceful yet luxurious stay, Lemon Tree Resort in Thimphu is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!"

CityHotel, Thimphu ★★★★
"CityHotel is a nice place to stay with very helpful staff and a great location. The rooms are large and comfortable and you are right in the middle of the city and can walk anywhere. There was not a frig in our room which was no big deal but might be to others. We had a very large balcony where one can sit out if the weather is nice. The reception staff is very helpful with suggestions and accommodating your needs. Special mention to Sangay who helped us with so many things (car/driver etc) that I am not sure her title. She was terrifically helpful. If you want luxury it is certainly there in Thimphu but you will have to pay 3-4 times as much. CityHotel gets the job done for a reasonable price and great service."

Lemon Tree Hotel, Thimphu ★★★
"Perfect location and a nice, cozy hotel with wonderful and helpful staff. The only problem i faced was using my card to swipe in inr even though it had been used internationally in the past. I had booked using the card while booking, and a minimal amount was deducted initially, too as a standard process. I think there should be ease to make payments using cards in inr since it's accepted in cash."
