"Went for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and really went out their way for us. It was also my birthday and the whole day they went above and beyond for me, had a happy birthday set up on the bed when we came back and had a special table set for me for dinner. So many reef sharks and incredible fish right at your door, and we went snorkelling with turtles and saw dolphins on a cruise. Poppy, Sandeep, Naveen and Kory were amazing and really made so much effort with us! Highly recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed here with our 5 month old for a week. The resort was very accommodating to us for all off babies needs even making personalised purees at meal times. The all inclusive package has everything you need so you don't have to worry about a pricey bill at the end of your stay. Restaurant quality was top standard and the menus had enough variety to keep us interested each day - although recommend going for the island essence options to really experience the best tuna dishes! It's a little further to go travel wise but the process is seem less with all the details being taken care of by the resort - just turn up at your allocated time and follow the hosts though the domestic transfer process. The island itself is beautiful and the reef is an ocean lovers dream - we saw vibrant reef fish, sharks,eels, tuna and trevally. No turtles but I'm told they are regular visitors - we just didn't have the best weather to snorkel as frequently as we would like. Hopefully will have an opportunity to visit again. Beautiful experience!"

"This was a truly memorable family holiday, made even more special by the excellent, efficient staff at the resort. We were treated wonderfully by everyone — the airport meet and greet, housekeeping, admin, restaurant staff, and the chefs all took care of our every need. The start was a little bumpy, but the resort executives and manager more than made up for it, looking after us beautifully for the rest of our three-day stay. Our beautiful two-bedroom overwater pool villa was exceptionally quiet and peaceful, with nothing but the sound of the ocean for company. We had a wonderful time swimming and snorkelling, enjoyed delicious meals across the resort’s multiple restaurants, and rounded it all off with a relaxing, much-needed spa treatment. I wanted to mention the names of all those who made this trip so special but as I didn’t have all the names it wouldn’t be fair to name a few."

"This was truly the best trip I have ever taken. I travel quite widely and have stayed in many beautiful luxury hotels, but The Halcyon was something else altogether. What won me over was not just how stunning the resort is, but the warmth of the people, the impeccable service, and the abundance of marine life that felt almost untouched and so incredibly close. The villa itself was beautiful, spacious and peaceful, the kind of place that made it so easy for us to slow down as a family. From breakfast by the pool, to the thoughtful welcome touches for the girls, to walking straight out to the beach and sea, every moment felt so carefully and personally prepared. What made the stay truly exceptional was how everything could be customised for our family, especially for my 7-year-old. She was still able to experience so much of the resort, the ocean and the activities in a way that felt safe, thoughtful and full. That made the holiday even more meaningful for us. A very special mention must go to our butler, Nattu, whose service was impeccable. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, meticulous in the smallest details, and always seemed to know what we needed before we even asked. He took such thoughtful care of our family and made us feel so warmly looked after throughout the stay. The marine life here is what makes the resort extremely unique. There were fish right at the bottom of our villa ladder, and seeing the nurse sharks up close was absolutely unforgettable. The diving and snorkeling were insane. If you love marine life and want it right at your fingertips, this is truly the place to come. The Ocean Experience team, Peter, was wonderful with the snorkeling lessons and helped make the sea feel so accessible and exciting for the children. We also had so much fun with the water sports team — Afeef, Hathim, Kamal and Shaal — who made every activity feel safe, exciting and so well taken care of. We tried the Iron Man experience, jet ski, fun tube, banana boat and kayaking, and even took the jet skis out to see the most incredible purple anemones. It was one of the biggest highlights of the trip. The food was also top notch. The Chinese, Thai and Indian cuisines, as well as the pastas and pastries, were all excellent. Thank you to Pastry Chefs Harpal, Rampal, Nico for such memorable meals throughout our stay. There were so many other lovely details that made the holiday special: Santoz, the amazing sand artist; Diva from the Kids Club, who was so warm with the children; and PC, whose massages were absolutely incredible. A heartfelt thank you also to GM Adriana and the entire team for creating such an exceptional experience. The Halcyon is stunning, but it was truly the people and the abundance of marine life that made this trip unforgettable. We are so grateful for such a beautiful holiday and will always remember our time here and can’t wait to return."
