"This is an ancient building that was beautifully renovated. Our rooms were quiet and interesting with exposed beams and brickwork. The food at breakfast was decent and dinner at the restaurant was excellent. We found the front desk to be quite helpful. Very recommended if you're in Torun."

"Advertised as a duplex apartment Terrible experience, paid Eur200 for one night to stay in a room with a box built in to house the bathroom and bed on top leaving a 1 meter space all round it to fit in everything else. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix etc. All cutlery for 2 ppl. No wine glasses. When we asked they said go and get from restaurant downstairs!!!! Also just one clothes hanger!!! And the river view non existent. All you see is houses and trees. Photos attached"

"The large plus deserves the location of the hotel – is very convenient and the hotel itself has an interesting, elegant decor and a pleasant atmosphere. It can be seen that the staff is still relatively unexperienced, but he is very hard to do and approach the guests with great kindness. Unfortunately, there are also issues that should definitely not have occurred in this class hotel. Cleanliness requires improvement – in my room the bed was stained, which is especially disappointing in the 4-gwiazdkowym hotel. Fortunately, during my stay, the nights were cool, so it was not that burdensome, but in a warmer period such a problem could significantly reduce the comfort of your stay. Breakfasts are generally good – products are good quality and the choice is satisfactory. However, there is one thing I really find it difficult to accept in the hotel 4-gwiazdkowym: unfresh bakery. Is it really so difficult to provide guests with fresh, crunchy broths or bagettes every morning? It's a small cost, and a huge difference in getting the whole breakfast. In summary: the hotel has great potential – location, decoration and the involved service definitely work for its benefit. However, with the standard of 4 stars, I would expect more attention to cleanliness, efficient air conditioning and, above all, fresh bread, and I hope that these shortcomings will be corrected, because this would make a really very successful stay."

"The rooms are nice, but the hotel is so badly soundproofed that you hear everything happening in the street as if it were happening in your own room. And if that’s not enough, you also get all the noise coming from your neighbors’ rooms. A real sleepless festival!"
