"It is not accessible by public transportation. You can tell at a glance that the facilities are old. However, I arrived around 10 PM and the main bath was closed, but they were considerate enough to let me shower for about 15 minutes (note that there is no toilet or shower in the room). The quality of the hot spring water felt very good."

"Good for a stopover. Located next to a Michi no eki (with a restaurant and cooked food stalls) with a beautiful view of the city. Efficient and friendly front desk. As with other Fairfield hotels in Japan there's a nice spacious lounge with self service beverage equipment, microwave and oven. Room is quiet, spacious with very comfortable beds. Good room layout with plenty of hooks for hanging up clothes."

"Located a bit far from the city center, but only about a 10-minute walk from the train station and easy to find. It has a charming, old-fashioned feel, quite simple, and the amenities are slightly lacking. Towels, toothbrushes, etc., need to be brought by yourself. The staff were very friendly and patiently offered recommendations for nearby restaurants during check-in. A nice guesthouse experience."
