Our room even had a heater, which was a real lifesaver for us after arriving so late and being out in the cold for so long. It felt incredibly warm and welcoming!"

They did provide a fan in the room but an air con unit would elevate the stay. Bathroom is compact but adequate, although a larger shower head would be great . Would definitely recommend and we would stay again when in the area."

"Booked for afternoon tea for 4 at 3pm. Had the dog friendly restaurant to ourselves. Attentive but not intrusive staff. Fabulous spread, freshly cut sandwiches with no fish, as requested. Warm scones, loads of clotted cream and the desserts were to die for! They included a brownie, carrot cake , a pineapple syllabub and a blackcurrant swirl. Unlimited teas and coffee. All beautiful. At £25 per head, well worth it. Thanks all."
