"Although Ayada is far away, the experience is very good. The butler was very enthusiastic, and the other staff on the island were also very enthusiastic. The room is very clean and tidy, the sand house and water house are very comfortable to live in, especially the water house, the scenery is very good, and snorkeling is very convenient. In short, Ayada is worth it."

"We had a wonderful 9 nights at the PH Maldives. The island is stunning, the reef is magical and the diving is so much fun! Getting there The journey to the island is a fairly lengthy one. We arrived in Male and were met by a PH representative who took us to the domestic terminal lounge. We had a 2 hour wait for the domestic flight to Kooddoo island which was a smooth 1 hour transit with Maldivian airlines. When we landed at Kooddoo we were then taken to the PH speedboat which took 30 minutes to Hadahaa. Accommodation Our first accommodation was an overwater pool villa. Fantastic sunset views & really comfortable. We were able to snorkel from the room but the water was a little more choppy on that side of the island, so we only did this a couple of times. We spent 4 nights in the overwater villa and then moved to a deluxe beach pool villa which was equally stunning and so relaxing. I would recommend trying a bit of both if you are able (beach and overwater) as they offer different aspects. The transfer between the two was seamless - we went diving in the morning and when we arrived back our belongings had been moved to our new villa on the beach. We had 3 hosts during our stay - Dina, Thinn and Akram who were all very attentive, and really responsive and helpful when we had queries or requests. Food & Drinks We did the half-board package and the food was consistently outstanding at both restaurants. We never had an ‘average’ dish & were so impressed with the food. Breakfast was equally lovely. We didn’t do the beach BBQ because we didn’t feel the need. There was so much variety on the main restaurant menu. Try the Maldivian tuna steak in the island grill (seared only) - it was delicious. At the restaurants, Satheesan was fantastic and attentive every day, and would always have our favourite table ready for us. Also special mention to Bek, Darryl and Iqbal for their friendly and excellent service. Spa We had 2 spa treatments while we were there. Excellent quality treatments and the spa area (including pool) were very relaxing and always basically empty. If we didn’t have our own pool we would have used the spa pool. Thanks to Asha and Okta for our lovely treatments. Diving We did our PADI open water course with Blue Journeys. We did the e-learning at home to save time out there. The great thing is that you can do the intro session and if it’s not for you, you don’t have to progress and you only pay for what you’ve done. Our sessions with our instructor Ahmed were really fun and engaging. We always felt safe and were so excited for the next session. The reef is beautiful so even when you are doing your open water training dives you are enjoying the incredible variety of sea life around the island. We saw reef sharks and nurse sharks doing our training dives. As well as lots of tropical fish, squid and the amazing coral. When we finished our certification we booked on a 2 tank boat dive. Ahmed came with us, as well as Max on"

"We spent a week in NH Havodda in April 2026 and it was absolutely fantastic! The main highlights for us: The House reef: this was our top priority when planning our trip to the Maldives and Havodda’s house reef is nothing short of spectacular. The entire island is surrounded by one of the best preserved coral gardens we’ve ever seen. We swam there for hours and saw turtles, sting-rays, small sharks, octopus and all sort of marine life and the most amazing coral formations. Don’t miss the chance to go for a guided night snorkelling tour if you really want to appreciate all this reef has to offer. The rooms: our sunset beach pool villa was a dream, with breathtaking views of the sunset and direct access to the beach. The staff: literally everyone seemed intent in making our stay the most enjoyable. From Zarina welcoming us on arrival and providing all the relevant information via WhatsApp to Ahmed the Guest relations Manager, to Risha, Michael and everyone else in the Restaurant area and the gentleman doing our rooms every day and the staff at the Dive Centre. They really go beyond job description to make you enjoy this beautiful island in full. The food: I did not have a chance to speak to the Chef in person, but if he’s reading this review I want to extend my most sincere appreciation for the quality and the variety of the food. My daughters have elected this the “place with the best food they’ve ever tried” (and we are from Italy so we take food “very seriously”) – the Easter lunch was just out of this world! If I had to highlight a couple of opportunities for improvement (calling these negatives would be way too strong!): Drinking water at lunch and dinner could be included in the full board option. They explain this very clearly so no hidden surprises, but as a general policy I would recommend making this part of the package (and if need be, increase the rates a little). Then again complimentary water is provided every day in your room so this is just a minor detail The far end of the island shows some signs of erosion and you can see sand bags, which I imagine are used to sustain some of the villas. This however is only a small portion of the island and the rest is in pristine conditions The trip to Havodda can be pretty heavy with the extra domestic flight after a long flight from London, but the moment you set foot on the island you realise the additional effort is more than rewarded. Plus there is a representative from NH Collection picking you up on arrival in Male and looking after you until you board the domestic flight and a very nice lounge you can use making the wait more than bearable. Overall 10/10 and can’t wait to come back - totally recommend this island, the resort and the amazing staff! Thank you."

"We stayed at Falhumaafushi throughout our 5-day trip here, and the Long Island is our favourite restaurant amongst the rest. "From the minute we arrived we were impressed by this wonderful place. Our room was immaculate and had a stunning view of Fuvahmulah. The rooftop pool is also the perfect place to watch the sunset and relax after a day of diving and exploring. The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach, shops, central dive centre and the bank. The food at the restaurant was delicious and we were served very generous portions. They also catered for my dietary requirements with no hassle. The absolute best part about our stay was the staff - they went above and beyond at every opportunity to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. They were so incredibly friendly and took time to make sure we had everything we needed each day. Every thing was so organised and efficient - it’s hard to believe this hotel has only been open for a short time! We highly recommend."
