This hotel could be so much better, especially for the price. On the positive side, the staff, including the concierge, Lisa, and the whole crew on the G floor are outstanding - the most friendly and helpful people. My suite was comfortable and quiet. The king size bed was firm. The air conditioner works well. The bathroom is big. The hotel location is good, near museums and Yaletown, with restaurants and boutiques nearby. The gym and the pool area are also good and, not many hotels in the city have an outdoor pool. The negatives are the extreme neglect regarding renovation and cleaning. For example, with COVID still an issue, after I checked in and stayed the first night in the hotel, I found an empty bottle of water behind the sofa and an used and dirty shirt near the bed. I did not noticed it immediately, because I arrived at 2 am and went straight to bed. To get my room cleaned daily was an ordeal. The hotel apologizes for being understaffed, but the prices were high, around CAD $5.500 for a week’s stay. If you cannot deliver the service, you should not be charging for it, The carpets and the curtains look old, dirty and shabby in the room and common areas. But by far the worse things about the Hilton Vancouver are the elevators. It is not unusual to wait 15 minutes, I am not exaggerating, to go from your floor to the lobby. I understand there is a shortage of workers in Vancouver, but some of the disappointing features of the Hilton could, in my opinion, be addressed by management that cares and is committed to providing guests with what they deserve based on their rates.

Great hotel. We were upgraded to a suite without asking! Everyone was very helpful, and breakfast! Great location. They arranged a taxi for us to go to BC FERRY. Told us approximately how long it would take. Even told us a few restaurants we were interested in. We would stay there again.

This was perfectly adequate for my one night stay prior to a cruise. The location is easily accessible from the train from the airport and less than a mile from the cruise terminal. It is no frills but clean. I had a shared bathroom which was a concern but it was fine. You share the bathroom with another room and you will hear them in there but, again, it was one night. There was a sink in the room which was good as you didn't need the bathroom for basic teeth brushing, etc. If I was doing an overnight in Vancouver again, I'd go back.

The location was perfect, and the room was quite spacious for the two of us, my teenager son and i, as we were in town for university campus visits. The beds were very comfortable, and the Starbucks in the lobby, and the mosaic restaurant served good food (for lunch). Parking was right down in the basement, and was very convenient. We parked the car there and walked around Robson avenue for shopping. Checkout was also very speedy and done online, without the need to line up.

Paradox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

The location is great, as it's just next to the Sky Train station and also close to the airport. The size of the suite is perfect for a family of 4 like us. It is a surprise that the hotel has a indoor swimming pool with slide, kids were happy!

On Sept 15, I attended the Pink Floyd Roger Waters concert downtown and stayed in my most favorite room, there jacuzzi loft suite for 2 very relaxing nights. The first night me and a buddy went to Moxies for a quick pasta dinner before heading to the concert. We used Uber to Roger's arena and back to the hotel at nights end, I was amazed how inexpensive both trips were from and back to the hotel, $25 each direction, can't beat that!!! The hotel is very centrally located to anywhere you need to go especially if using Uber or Lyft. The second Night my girlfriend joined me in the room and we did absolutely nothing except request a late checkout for the following checkout day, and we sat in the jacuzzi all afternoon and night while ordering take out from there on-site restaurant, Moxies. This room has everything you need and more, when I stay in this room, I try to make sure there is no reason to leave. For those who have not experienced there jacuzzi loft suite, it is highly recommended to put on your bucket list for your next staycation. Jake was my check in agent whom was very professional, outgoing, great at what he does, and I would definitely have him manage my reservation anytime from making the reservation all the way to checkout, great job Jake!! The front desk Staff was very approachable at all times and they all deserve recognition as you can tell by watching them that they work as a team. Another staycation in the books!! Our stay started off really well. Front desk staff were very friendly and let us check in early. I went to have a shower before going to the concert we were in town for and found that the tub drain was plugged and the tub not draining. I had received a txt earlier ask how the room use and to text if we need anything. So I text that the tub was are draining. I did not get a response and left the room to go out. We thought we would come back the drain being unplugged but instead came back to nothing done. We went to the front desk to ask for a plunger to try and fix ourselves as it had been 7 hours and still no response. We tried to plug the drain but it did not help. When we returned the plunger the front desk person offered us another room but being in out pj’s and it after midnight we stayed in the room. They said maintenance would be back at 7am. We went to check out at 11, still no response to txt and no maintenance person to fix tub. The desk person apologized and offered us breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. We went to the restaurant but they would only give us bacon or sausage and eggs. Being vegan and vegetarian that was not going to work. The restaurant said they could not offer anything else. We went back to the front desk and the manager wouldn’t allow the front desk person to do anything else for unless we wanted McDonald’s. Looking forward to getting home tonight to shower.

We went to Canada for business purposes. Each of us had a room on a different floor - I ended up on the 7th floor and a room with a mountain view. A colleague ended up lower and there was already only a view of the shopping center. But these are not aspects of the hotel's rating. I subtract one star for the dry air and buzzing air conditioner in the room. The rest OK. Breakfasts correct, service courteous.

This hotel is truly nice. The driver and I had a difficult time seeing where the hotel entrance was. We had to guess. Very engaging lobby, with a check in that went very smooth. There are plenty of amenities at this hotel. Good attached restaurant. The room was very large, very nice, and very comfortable. Very large bathroom, and nice shower. However. The glaring problem here are the thin walls. Every other guest I spoke to had the same complaint. I could annoyingly hear the people walking around above my room. The housekeeping staff could be heard cleaning several rooms away. The hotel guests could be heard walking around the halls and in their rooms. A small amount of noise is to be expected at hotels, but this is just poor design and cheap building. There was also a distinct smell of vomit throughout the hotel. I am not certain if this was the result of the farm land outside, or intoxicated guests. Probably both. If you are here to gamble and drink, you may not notice any of my issues. If you are hear to sleep and work the next day, you may share my concerns.
