"We were here last week, did not stay in the hotel but went there three times to use the bar and dining facilities, food was good and the girls serving us were sweet and pleasant, we were pretty much the only two people anytime we were there. nice big deck with a view of the sunset."

"It's like living in your own little home at Mystic Sands. Cosy, cool, fantastic facilities and my favourite part was Mossie, who is the mum of the hotel I suppose, who would venture off into town with any shopping list you gave her that morning so we could relax all day by the water and come the afternoon, she was there to deliver us our groceries so we could cook dinner in the kitchen in our room! We kayaked to the deserted island about 10 minutes paddle, and we were swimming in turquoise water amongst blue star fish and tropical reef fish. The owners are lovely people too, having been on the island for many years and were more than happy to share some hot tips of where to explore, whale tours to go on etc. A huge thank you to Adriana and Kjell, and all of the lovely staff for having us! We will be back :)"

"The owners Helen and Shane were truly awesome. They made us feel part of the family, and nothing was a problem. While dated, the facilies were still in great condition, and far exceeded our Tongan expectations. The rooms were spotless, and the bathroom and showers truly wonderful. Use of the snorkeling equipment and kayaks was free, and available 24/7. The staff were friendly and courteous. Location was the best in the island. We could sit on our porch, metres from the sea and watch both the sunrise and sunset. The sand was beautifully groomed, There was great snorkeling right off the beach. Fantastic value for money. I have stayed in some very posh resorts around the world, but it is the atmosphere that makes a good location great. Helen and Shane really added a significant gloss to an already fantastic resort. We will be back, and I have already passed on their details to other people planning their holidays."
