This hotel was friendly and located within a walkable distance from some of the main attractions of Venice. I loved the ease of walking down the street in the morning to get coffee and pastry, there is also a supermarket close by to stock up on anything you may need during your trip.
The room was traditional and rustic but had a certain charm to it, the shared bathroom was always clean and never really had to wait for it.
The staff were all very friendly and multilingual which helps.
Will definitely stay again and hopefully plan to go around Christmas next time as it seems magical in Venice. Thank you so much.

Basic furnishings but friendly staff, clean and with a beautiful view of the canal. Better than many other hotels of equivalent price that look chic in photos but disappoint upon arrival.

If you want to sleep in the real Venice, where true Venetians still live, ordinary people who study or work, then go to this former nunnery in Castello. It would need to be renovated or at least modernised, but that's fine with me, in absolute silence, in a very clean room, without a lift, or breakfast, since Melita is 2 minutes away anyway... But don't go when there's Biennial because I want to go back.

Amazing location! A nice quiet area that’s only a 2 minute walk from the bustling area of Castello, and only 20 minute walk from San Marco.
The room was exactly what we needed for a busy city break; and the shower pressure was perfect!
The host was brilliant, so attentive and helped us with everything we needed!
Only issue we had was our plug adapters didn’t work in the sockets as they were quite old, but the staff immediately gave us adapters :)

Comfortable and pleasant, worth the money. The view from the window was amazing, and the host especially nice and helpful. The room was nice, with nice breeze coming from the windows, and the air conditioning worked fine. Shower had hot water. Recommend and worth the money!
