"I was in the one of the Atlantis suites and it was excellent value - a big lounge, big bedroom and separate bathroom. The rooms were clean and spacious, cool and nicely furnished. There was a short order cook at breakfast for eggs and the room service was tasty and was delivered quickly when I had a working lunch in the room. The wifi was more reliable than at the more expensive hotel where I stayed in Windhoek, and there was parking on site. The front desk staff were cheerful and friendly. The hotel is well located in the centre of town close to the port, the drydock and many commercial establishments. I got Marriott Bonvoy points as well. Only two downsides are there is no gym or fitness room at the hotel, and secondly the fridge in the living space was remarkably noisy. There are flashier places in Walvis Bay on the esplanade but for a short stay I would recommend the Protea Indongo Hotel"

"We had a great experience here. The hotel is very well-located - it was just steps away from our Sandwich Bay tour departure point. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They all went above and beyond. The thatched roof is charming. The room was comfortable, with nice pillows. The breakfast is great. But the real standout is the quality of the staff, from the front desk to the wait staff to the nighttime security guard to the laundry staff!"

It was clean, well-designed and comfortable. Staff was nice: they checked me in early. 2 small drawbacks: WiFi was sluggish and there were no toiletries except for an unbranded dispenser which apparently is supposed to be used as both shampoo and shower gel, which is questionable."

The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Next time I’m in Walvis, I’ll definitely be staying there again!"
