Wangdue Ecolodge ★★★★
"We had an amazing time at Wangdue Eco Lodge with Sonam Dendup as host… It is an amazing place to stay, clean, rustic and full of nature and views… Even with a day, and now we wonder why only a day, had an amazing and memorable time.. will come back for sure… Thank you so much !! We will cherish the memories and conversations and will look forward to seeing you guys again !!"
Punatsangchhu Cottages ★★★
"Located a fair bit away from the main Punakha town, the cottages have a good view of the river meandering below. The cottage rooms are decent for a one night stay and comfortable. We were informed that the hotel had reopened only 15 days prior, which was evident from the teething problems that the front desk had during check-in. However, the staff, given time will be able to overcome this, since the manager is someone who knows his trade. All in all, good stop for one night."
Zhingkham Resort ★★★
"The hotel is located up a steep hill which provides a beautiful view of the valley and the Punakha Dzong. This is especially beautiful at night when it is all lit up. The property itself is not the highest in design or construction...lacking in the Bhutanese style..relatively nondescript. But the view makes up for its faults. However this can also be a disadvantage since the walk up the hill is an exercise in itself."
