"Private beach pass is a bonus! Nice pool and room was ok. AC didn’t work well. 5 min drive to beach."

"The hotel felt and looked more like a $50-a-night roadside motel than a beach-side property charging the $600 per night that we paid. The towels were tiny, rough, and so thin that they were see through and we were given no extra pool/beach towels despite the room having a shelf with a written label dedicated to that. We didn’t end up using the pool or beach anyway because both were tiny, overcrowded, and beyond unappealing.  You have to drag your luggage alone up flights of stairs as there is no elevator and no help. Our sheets had a stain upon arrival, the carpet was dirty, and despite staying multiple nights, our room was never serviced. There was no iron, no coffee or water in the room, the refrigerator wasn’t cold and was falling apart, and there wasn’t even a phone to call downstairs. When we requested an iron we were told they didn’t even have any but that a steamer would be sent up- it wasn’t and we had to go downstairs and ask again an hour and a half later. We were also told we’d received the last two clean towels in the hotel… and there wasn’t even water available in the lobby when we checked out. Our friend’s room was even worse, smelling and feeling damp with the carpet turning your feet black if you walked barefoot."

"This motel is not child friendly in any way, and you should not stay if you have any health issues. The two motels room we booked were covered in mold and rust, we stayed one night and unfortunately the mold made it so I could not breathe due to my asthma, and my child’s asthma so we had to cut our trip short .The shower head was covered in mold and We couldn’t use the air conditioners due to them being covered in black mold as well. When I reached out to ******* to get a refund do to having to leave because of the mold and rust I was told the property management denied it. I will be contacting the board of health in the area along with disputing with my credit card company since I have many pictures and videos for proof of the unsanitary conditions. I wasn’t going to even write a review or make a problem, I just wanted a refund to not being able to stay because of health issues caused by the mold. EDIT TO ADD: (The only way to edit my review was to delete it and resubmit it) The owners like to lie about why we left the motel early, they told ******* I left early due to cloudy weather when I requested a refund, however when they replied to my review on here they stated it was because my children were “out of control” when they most definitely were not. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU BOOK WITH, owner will try to make you look bad when you post honest reviews!!!! I will be attaching the mold pictures as well as the owners reply to my original review and there excuse to *******. We took a trip back to RI couple weeks later thru air bnb and had a delightful time. If we were just trying to get a free trip we would of taken them up on there offer for a free night when we came back. Please ask yourself what kind of person lies about other peoples children. DISTURBING."

"Such a beautiful perfect property with perfect upkeep and cleanliness. Gorgeous relaxing viewed from the beautiful lawn or porches of the Pawcatuck River flowing right by the property. Incredible amenities and personal touches that make this five star. This is our 3rd time staying and will definitely be back. The innkeepers are so kind with great recommendations and offer convenient items such as beach towels, chairs, and an incredible breakfast display with so many choices! Can’t recommend enough!"

"We had 4 rooms. Despite description, the ocean view room had no ocean view. My room had a window (overlooking a busy road) that did not close. So I dealt with drafts and traffic noise. Upon arrival guests are greeted by uninstalled windows and tools lying on the front porch with no indication that anyone was going to actually work on the place. Try to avoid the broken glass in the lawn as you walk to the wine area that overlooks the parking lot. Langworthy Inn was once a lovely, charming place, but it is so rundown now. Overpriced."
