Nice room with lovely modern ensuite bathroom. Very little furniture for clothes and personal items though. Bedside cabinets had drawers, but no other furniture. Note.... no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. There is a shared centre kitchen where hot drinks can be made. This also has a microwave and a fridge for all the occupants. Great location, a couple of kilometres for Whangarei centre, and the accommodation has beautiful gardens.

Stayed for 3 nights in the superior room. Sue is an amazing host. The room and common areas were spotless. The garden is incredible, first thing the wife and I did was go and explore it. The common living room felt very homely and the outdoor patio area was relaxing with the sounds of the stream at the bottom of the property. Sue helped us with our day excursions, giving us detailed local knowledge and advice. Sue consistently went above and beyond and really made our stay feel special. Tip.
