"When you first drive up to this hotel it doesn't look the greatest however, we were given a fabulous room with stunning Seaviews. The cleanliness of the room was the best I've seen in a long time, the shower was superb, and level of service was excellent. I couldn't give it a 5 simply because it lacked something in atmosphere/vibe that was missing. All the staff we interacted with were really warm and friendly - well done!"

"This place was breathtaking. Steve and Charmaine were amazing hosts and made us feel welcome immediately. My husband and I enjoyed the lovely spa bath in our room and we could take a few step and we were in that amazing pool. Every morning the breakfast were devine, so we could start the day. "We stayed at Whales Way twice on our trip - once in December and then on our way home. What a lovely place to stop over at. Benji and Annie (and Benji's father) go out of their way to make the stay very pleasant. The first room was the garden room at the back - nice garden view the road noise from the N2 was not too bad. The TV is not worth watching and wifi was a little weak at times. The stay in the loft room made up for the garden room stay. What an amazing view over the sea. Breakfast was amazing. Benji and his father together made it happen and it was delicious. All in all, a great overnight B&B or even if you are staying in Wilderness for a few days. Recommended."

We stopped over on out Garder Route drive and were blown away with what Wilderness has to offer. "Great location. Sparkling clean. Staff goes above and beyond to assist with anything. Food at breakfast cooked to order and delicious with an ocean view. Hiking trails a short drive away. Spectacular beach and a short safe walk into the village for dinner. We stayed 2 nights in between Storms River Mouth rest camp and a stay at Jeffrey Bay. Anyone would love to stay here. Jemma the manager is top notch as is the household staff. Secure gated parking onsite. "
