"OMG !!! We had booked a sea view room and it did not disappoint. The view of the long beach & ocean is simply to die for, oh…….and the sound The hotel is fabulous. Bright, modern and lots of space, as is the room. The staff and service were absolutely first class, treated us as if we were the only couple staying. It’s ideally located perched right on the cliff edge and just a ten minute drive from Wilderness town. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending Views, thank you & well done to their great team of people."

"The Garden Route in South Africa's Western Cape is certainly one of the most beautiful regions in a country that is not short of wonderful landscapes. And Wilderness is one of the most beautiful places there. If your trip takes you there, then we can definitely recommend the Boardwalk Lodge for an overnight stay. Situated in a slightly elevated position and just a few minutes' walk from the beach, the rooms are individual cottages nestled in the greenery like chalets. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. All important areas, such as the charming breakfast room, can be reached via wooden stairs. The two owners, Chris and Melissa, have created a real gem in one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. And there's no doubt that we'll be returning here on our next visit to Wilderness. Eva and Marc"

"Spent 8 nights there and found everyone extremely accommodating and friendly. great location with great views. The staff were anxious to understand our needs and wants and try to accommodate. The dinner service was excellent and their desserts are NOT to be missed. The location for us was perfect as it was mid point between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay, allowing us to use this hotel as a base and allowing us to roam freely along the Garden Route. Additionally, there is an excellent array of local restaurants in Wilderness that were in close proximity. The rooms were great, excellent bed and linens, all with an amazing view of the ocean. Can't express sufficiently was a great stay we enjoyed there."

"Stayed here for 2 nights, but wished we had booked longer. Excellent location just off the main road, but felt very secluded due to the flora ,fauna and bird wildlife giving a feeling of remoteness. A short walk to the most amazing beach and a number of excellent restaurants nearby,also0 petrol station and well equipped supermarket. Staff are so welcoming, pleasant, attentive and professional. Rooms are spacious, spotless and well equipped .There is a choice of welcome drink you can take on arrival or at any time during your stay. with an "honesty" bar in operation. Breakfast quality is excellent. You are given your own set of keys to the property which gives access to a rear gate and a lovely short walk int the town and across the road to the beach. Had a wonderful stay. Small pool area with nice sunbeds."

"Dune Villa Wilderness is a lovely place. There are so many personal and thoughtful touches in the lobby and the room. The owners are kind and welcoming and made a point to say hi and check in on your stay at breakfast each morning. Oh, and the breakfast was delicious! Beautiful ocean views in the room and a good value! Not walkable to Wilderness was the only downside, but if you want a quiet and private place to stay this is it!!!"
