"Very disappointed booked the breakfast and evening meal deal , waited for our starter then after I asked if we had been forgotten, I was told they were busy (only 4 other tables being served) waited another 20 minutes before we got our food , we were offered extra drinks, That evening I felt very sick and the following morning was sick at breakfast, we did tell the manager and he said he would refund the breakfast. I have not received any contact from the manager ,and no refund, despite sending an email directly to the manager. It would have been nice if someone had at least inquired to see if I was well after possible food poisoning!!"

"First, I would just like to say this review is based on the experience I had whilst staying at The Talbot Inn. All I can say is that I had an absolutely fantastic stay. The room was spotlessly clean . The shower room had shower gel, ect, and was also spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee facilities are available with some biscuits and 2 mint chocolates. This is replenished every day , bottled water is also supplied. If you would like fresh milk, this can also be provided . All the staff are so friendly and accommodating ,the restaurant and bar area are spotlessly clean and the food was excellent . I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. 100% "

"Lewis our waiter was very attentive and efficient. The menu was full of choice, slightly disappointed they had ran out of Roast Turkey & Hake Special… but it was 5pm on a Sunday and they had been busy I’d expect. We opted for the roast beef and chicken both tasty and portion size was spot on not too big or small. We will be back with the family I’m sure."
