"Our trip fell during the flood season, and we booked a courtyard house. The hotel, concerned about the damp beds, offered to move us to private rooms. We'd been hoping for the courtyard, a place where our two families could enjoy a lively barbecue. However, the weather wasn't favorable, so we had no choice but to agree. We ended up having our barbecue under a nearby awning. It rained from the moment we checked in, so we didn't get to experience the surrounding area. The dam releases during the flood season were noisy, so we didn't get a good rest. There were almost no indoor facilities, so we ended up playing poker in the lobby. Thankfully, the food was quite good, and we didn't starve during the downpour. If the weather is good, you can explore the surrounding area and participate in the folk activities, which is worth the trip. If it rains, you'll just have to stay in your room, staring at each other. It's not worth the price. The staff was very nice, patiently addressing our questions and responding to our needs."

"Surrounded by mountains and water, the environment is beautiful, a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed in a tent room, and listening to the river and the chirping of insects at night was very relaxing. The boss is a man of taste. He spent his own money to build roads and keep the place beautiful. It feels like the boss really regards this place as his own business. There are many beautiful flowers and plants planted in the garden, as well as chestnut trees, hawthorn trees, and walnut trees. You can pick them in autumn, but now you can only admire them. Corn and vegetables are also planted. The coffee shop tastes very good, much better than the ones in the city. The boss is very attentive. He drove out to lead the way in the middle of the night for fear that we would not find the way. I heard that the boss used to be a director and can cook. He personally cooked barbecue for us and made delicious Chongqing noodles, which were awesome. 👍🏻 The place is still under renovation, and the two bungalows are being renovated so that people can live in it in winter. Looking forward to visiting us next time"

"Absolutely fantastic! The butler-style service was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. The room was spotless, and the soundproofing was excellent. It's super convenient – 'Xiao Ye' and 'Qingshan' are right downstairs, and 'Yi Shitang' (First Canteen) is just behind the building. I booked a private hot spring, so I didn't use the public bath voucher, but I highly recommend the creekside private hot spring – it was an amazing experience!"

"We were very happy to discover this hidden charming place run by some creative souls while looking for a rural escape from the heat. The tents were spacious and comfortable and the location superb. Every aspect of this place has been well designed and intentionally thought out. The only thing downside was that a lot of common spaces were sadly lacking maintenance and upkeep. There was a flood last year and the upkeep has probably been difficult. But once tidied up and properly maintained, this place has everything to qualify as a five star nature retreat."
