Hotels in Qinghai Province Museum/Xining Wildlife Park, Xining

Very nice clean hotel. Helpful staff. Room modern, clean and just right. Mine didn't have a closet or a safe but that's not such a big deal. This next point isn't about this particular hotel but for all girls in China. Please make it more accessible to non-chinese speaking foreigners. Each of the girls I started with during my trip, do not make any attempt or even try to care. China is getting super automated and self-service but their smart devices and controllers ranging from in-room controls to within the property like room service and delivery robots could also understand English would be fantastic. It's so much cheaper to add a new language to these agents than to have all their staff learn English and it would enhance our experience by a 100x as we would never bother the hotel staff with anything.

Starting with the positives. The construction and decor was great. Showering space was also nice and new. Staff were also helpful and nice. Amenities are ok. Everything you would expect for washing up. But no AC for many rooms without windows is a travesty. Only a electric fan that can only blow for 1 hour at a time. Easy to get asphyxiated at night. Horrible stench of body odor and cigarette smoke was present when I entered my room. Hygiene seemed alright until I showered. And with a small waft of the towels a terrible stench of cigarette odor pierced my nostrils.. Expecting guests to wipe off with this odorous smell is disappointing. Water also leaks from the shower compartment into the toilet floor.

The Xining Changjiang International Hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, and I especially loved that the toiletries came in individual sachets – a big plus! 👍 The bathroom has motion-sensor lighting and a sliding door that separates it from the bedroom, ensuring no disturbance to your sleep. The staff on our floor were warm, attentive, and kept everything spotlessly clean. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted pretty good. There's also a well-stocked supermarket on the ground floor of the hotel. My only suggestion would be to improve the pillows. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel whether you're in Xining for business or leisure! 👏

Is this really a five-star hotel? The facilities and ambiance are very high-end, and the room view is quite good – it feels like staying at the Ritz-Carlton, haha! However, the heating wasn't working well; it was blowing cold air, and the humidifier was also out of order. And I'm still wondering why the fridge was placed outside the room. 😂 The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, but the taste was just average. Overall, the service was very good, but there was no one at the hotel entrance to help with luggage, or maybe they just weren't there at the time? I've pointed out a few minor issues, but none of them diminish my positive impression of this hotel. I still highly recommend everyone to stay here.

The hotel lobby's decor was luxurious and grand, and the front desk staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, their smiles were truly heartwarming. I had originally booked a standard room, but the front desk agent thoroughly explained the benefits of a view room. After upgrading, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely stunning view. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the mattress was perfectly firm yet comfortable. It was quiet at night, not noisy at all, making for an overall perfect experience.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The room was spacious and bright, well-equipped with stable WiFi, and the bathroom had a great dry-wet separation with a full set of toiletries. The heating worked perfectly, the room was spotless, and the bedding was super comfortable. The soundproofing was also excellent, allowing for a fantastic night's sleep. Overall, an amazing experience – highly recommended!

The hotel ambiance is elegant, and the bedding is comfortable. There's an unlimited supply of mineral water available at the elevator entrance on each floor. The service is also very attentive, and the facilities are comprehensive, including a free laundry room. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Lobby Manager Xiao Li and the front desk staff were very attentive, even giving us creative cultural souvenir fridge magnets. The concierge enthusiastically helped with our luggage. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft, and it offered great value for money.

I stayed at this hotel for three days in Xining. The rooms were spacious and bright, very clean, and the service was good. Parking was usually available, but sometimes it was a bit tight, so it's best to reserve a parking space in advance with the front desk. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and quite good. It's right across from Wanfang City, with a large supermarket downstairs, making it very convenient to buy all kinds of daily necessities. There are also many snack shops and yogurt shops nearby, which I won't go into detail about. Also, this hotel is located in the center of Xining. In case of altitude sickness, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai Province (I think) is just a ten-minute walk away. Don't ask me how I know 😂
