Hotels in Wanda Plaza/Tangdao 637, Xining

This is my fourth time staying here, and overall, my experience has been great. The hotel facilities are well-equipped and in good condition, and the room hygiene is meticulously maintained, making it clean and comfortable. The service is thoughtful and patient, although communication can be a bit challenging when trying to express specific needs. The location is very convenient, right next to the airport shuttle pick-up/drop-off point, which saves a lot of time and effort when catching flights. It's quiet and livable, making it perfect for a short transit stay.

Pro points - The beds are soft and comfy, good showers with very hot water. Rooms were clean. The buses from outside connect well to the Muslim area of the city and the restaurants nearby are nice. Staff are friendly. Bad points - We booked a non smoking room, all the rooms available were infact non smoking and yet the whole place absolutely stank of cigarettes. We moved rooms because after dinner we came back to a haze of smoke in the room, everyone must be smoking. I live in China, I realise this isn't uncommon, but in that case don't advertise non smoking rooms.

A Warm and Memorable Stay in Xining ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a truly wonderful stay at Boliya Bu Hotel in Xining. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed not only by the excellent facilities and comfortable rooms, but also by the warm and thoughtful service. One of the hotel staff members shared their service philosophy with us: “我们希望给客人带来最温馨的体验” — “We strive to provide our guests with the warmest and most welcoming experience.” We felt that this was truly reflected in the way the staff treated us throughout our stay. What made our stay especially memorable was the genuine hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive and always ready to help. Their sincere and caring service gave us a wonderful feeling of being welcomed and looked after, rather than simply being hotel guests. The hotel also provides many thoughtful complimentary services, including a good breakfast, late-night snacks and a self-service laundry room. These little touches made our stay so much more convenient and comfortable, especially after a long day of travelling and sightseeing. The facilities are excellent, the service is outstanding, and the overall experience is excellent value for money. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Xining!

Let's start with the positives: the location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby making dining convenient, and there's an airport shuttle stop right outside. The higher floors offer a panoramic view of the city's nightscape, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel for my last stop in Xining before flying home. However, on the second day, breakfast was a bizarre experience. They had simply set up a few tables with food in the second-floor hallway, and strangers were squeezed together at large round tables to eat. It was incredibly awkward. There were only two or three unresponsive servers who showed no service awareness. On the third day, we were informed that breakfast had returned to the first-floor restaurant, and the food and environment were finally up to a normal hotel standard. Since my flight was in the afternoon, I called the front desk and was granted a late check-out until 3 PM, which shows the hotel's consideration for guests and good service. This is also why I gave a higher rating.

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at on our Qinghai-Gansu loop tour, completely lacking any sense of service. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and even the greeters, we felt no warmth and were met with cold faces almost everywhere. The room phone was always unreachable and there were no instructions on how to use it. I really don't understand how this hotel operates and is managed. No matter how grand its appearance, it'll be hard to attract repeat customers with service like that. Quite a disappointment.

The hotel opened this year. The room is large and the decoration is very high-end, which meets my aesthetic taste. The whole house is smart, the lights and curtains can be voice-controlled, there is also a smart toilet, the projection image quality is very clear, and we also watched a movie at night. The bed is very clean and soft, and there are washing machines, refrigerators, and induction cookers. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from Wanda. There are also many delicious foods around the hotel, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. Maybe because of the altitude, the bath water is a little small, and the full-body mirror at the door of the bathroom is a funhouse mirror, which makes me happy. Everything else is great! It's a pity that we have to rush the schedule, otherwise we will definitely stay a few more nights.

The location is excellent with great services. The staff are friendly and helpful. They always try their best to serve you. The only concerns were someone smoke in the non-smoking floor that made the floor smelly. Hotel should minor and make sure no one smoke in non-smoking floors. My rooms TVs were not working properly, expect hotel check all room facilities before customer check in.

Let's start with the positives: 1. The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to Wanda Plaza. The breakfast variety and taste are both excellent. They have everything from mini wontons, noodles, bread, cakes, yogurt, stir-fries, congee, cereal, and juices (of course, it can't compare to a five-star hotel, but it's very good for a hotel of its caliber). 2. The hotel offers a self-service laundry room with complimentary washers and dryers. There are even sticky notes and magnets next to them, so you can write your room number on a note and attach it. If you can't pick up your laundry promptly, the staff can retrieve it, put it into a laundry bag, and deliver it to your room. This is absolutely fantastic! Now for the downsides: 1. The room I booked was advertised as having a smart toilet, but the bidet function didn't work; the water sprayed downwards instead of upwards. 2. The mini-fridge in the room was very noisy, clearly old and due for replacement. Plus, it was unplugged, and I had to pull it out to plug it in (I'm guessing the previous guest unplugged it because of the noise, but it should have been plugged back in during room cleaning, otherwise the next guest can't get cold drinks). Finally, a positive note on the service: I left in a hurry and forgot my charger in the room. After I called, the staff immediately verified they found it and promptly couriered it to the specified address. The response time was very quick! I have to give them high praise for the service.

The Atour S Hotel SDIC Plaza Haihu New District Xining is very new, and both the rooms and the overall environment are very clean. The breakfast selection is rich, and the beef noodles are delicious. Parking is also very convenient for those driving, which is awesome! The staff service is also very attentive; they answer all questions and resolve issues quickly.

Business travel values efficiency, this hotel check-in and check-out speed is very fast, saving a lot of time. The room has ample desktop space, convenient to handle work affairs, and the wardrobe storage capacity is good. Bring your own meeting room, small negotiations can be carried out directly at the hotel. The surrounding business district is not far away, and you can simply shop in your free time. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the facilities are clean and tidy, and you can rest well after the work is over. It is very suitable for friends who travel frequently.
