Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.

A very nice hotel, just next to Xining Station. It is very convenient to check in when traveling. I have to say that the hotel service is very good. Zhuoma and Xiaoma at the front desk gave a bottle of hot mineral water after check-in. It was so considerate, despite the weather. It was very cold, and it stopped being cold all of a sudden. It must be praised! The breakfast coupon was given in the morning and the souvenir was given after the invoice was issued after leaving the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay.

This is really an International Hotel with 5 star standard. Service, amenities and room toiletries is of premium quality except the central aircon is not switched on so the room temperature is at 25°C cannot be adjusted much lower, only can switch to fan full blast but not cold. When I lodge a complaint, the staff says they don't switch the central aircon for month of May but advise to just open the window as it gets cold in the evening. The cold air do come in through the window to keep the room cool.They will switch on the central aircon in month of June and July when it's very hot. Overall I love this hotel as it's next to the railway station and many local street food around the hotel. Highly recommended!

The manager of this hotel sally was amazing. She speaks fantastic english and helped us in directions, picking up from airport, booking the trains, and when we lost our baggage in the Airport she went out of her way to help, in alloting the rooms, 10 Star service by her. amazing person and would love to visit. this charming city again and stay in the same Hotel. Location is damn good and her service is amazing. Thank you sally very much from all of us from the Team of 10 people.

This hotel has some absolutely great features but overall I would never stay there again. I was initially very impressed with the great service on check in (including no fuss about a foreign passport) and the high tech features of the hotel seemed amazing - you use an an app to open the door and control the room functions such as opening the curtains and turning on the lights. There was also a robot wandering around with no obvious function but had some mad telekinesis skills on show in the lift. So far, great, impressed, 5 stars. However, all of this high tech wizardry was no good when the temperature of the room was like 30 degrees and there was no air con. It was actually a pleasant and cool evening in Xining and walking back to the hotel after dinner I was even partially looking forward to a nice warm duvet. But the room itself would make the Fins sweat. There was no place for duvets in a sauna. We phoned reception about this and they suggested opening the window (a revelation that we'd made independently), however the window in question was about the size of an A4 paper and the draft was about as powerful as an asthmatic playing air saxophone. We asked for a fan and they said they get it sorted but they never did so we had to open the door thereby exposing any other guests to this sight of me starfished in a pool of sweat. Apart from the being hotter than the surface of Venus, the TV also didn't work, or at least it did for about ten minutes before cutting out. Essentially long story short, this hotel was nailing some of the top level stuff but needed a bit of works on the basics. Breakfast was so so. Tea or coffee would have made it better.

Only stayed one night, but the hotel was great, the staff were helpful, and the ginger tea they give as a welcome drink was lovely. Comfy bed and hot shower are always great. The little toiletries were good quality as well. While I may not go back to Xining again, I would definitely stay at a Hampton by Hilton again. 😀

The room felt like it had been unoccupied for a long time and had a strong smell of dust. The hotel did not have plastic slippers. They said they were afraid to put them in because of complaints. The breakfast was good. There was a piece of paper stuck in the door mirror. I don't know if it was blocked by the previous guest or something. Hotel, if it’s a previous guest, then there’s something wrong with the hotel’s cleaning. If it’s a hotel, then your maintenance is really rough.

This is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed at Home Inn in so many years. Must be praised. The room is large, fully equipped, neat and orderly, and looks very comfortable. It's more comfortable to live there. There is breakfast, although there is not much variety, but it is delicious. The price is still so cheap. It's not far from the train station. When you go out and turn to the left, you can see the words ”Xining Station”. The lady at the front desk was very nice and enthusiastic. The deposit bag is also very responsible, as well as the deposit slip. Will recommend friends and family to book here.

We had a wonderful experience at the Luxery Blue Hotel. The decore is beautiful and the place is clean. The staff is professional and responsive. Manger William ensured our stay was comfortable and he continually went above and beyond what was required to ensure we had the best stay possible. He helped print off our documents for our next trip, and even helped us get our forgotten passport to the train station just in time. We are incredibly impressed by his communication skills, professionalism, and kindness. This place is a must stay when you're in Xining next.

The old hotel is well renovated and maintained, with a smart toilet, comfortable bedding, and homemade yogurt. The room on the second floor is a bit noisy when the window is open, but it basically does not affect the rest when the window is closed. The seals in the shower and toilet are leaking, and the bathroom floor is full of water after taking a shower. The hot water temperature of the shower is a little low, and the shower is a bit cold. The restaurant on the first floor, Octagonal Palace, is not suitable for small groups of people to dine. The private rooms are very busy and seem to be unable to take care of scattered guests... Fortunately, there are many places to eat around. There is a ”Qinghai Tourism” discount coupon when booking. Compared with the room price of more than 200, the overall situation is already very cost-effective

The biggest advantage here is that the room is very large. The room area is about 50 square meters. It is really a spacious living experience. The transportation here is so convenient. It is next to the train station. For the traffic jams in Xining during the morning and evening rush hours, it is a good choice to stay here. You don’t have to worry about missing the train here. I really like this. There is also the nearby Lanzhou Ramen Restaurant, which tastes great. My children eat there every morning, noon and evening, saying it tastes very good. Their beef soup ramen is very delicious, but The front desk may be a bit messy, and the personnel at the reception desk feel unprofessional. The response to customers is very slow, and they are not even willing to communicate too much. The aunts are very passive when it comes to cleaning. We stayed there for four or five days in a row without making phone calls. No sanitation, no taking out the trash.
