The accommodation was really great! It took me a moment to find it because no one in the area knew the English name. But after fifteen minutes of searching I found it. The owner was super friendly and explained all the sights to me as soon as I arrived, plotted a route for me and gave me tips on how to use public transport. That meant I didn't have to spend any money on a guide. She was also able to help me answer my questions via WeChat while I was out and about. The accommodation itself was in a quiet location, but still super central, right next to the cable car station, and there were delicious restaurants a couple of streets away. Everything was clean and there was heating so you didn't have to freeze in autumn and winter. After checking out I left my luggage there for a few hours and everything worked out great.
