The hotel is opposite the China Merchants Bureau, the location is excellent, there is a parking lot, the two young men at the front desk are warm and thoughtful, the room is newly renovated, the toiletries are complete, the hot water is very fast, the bedding is very comfortable, the sheets are very clean, the breakfast is very rich, Chinese food Western food, coffee fruit are available. Overall it feels very good.

I specially invited friends to see the local gods. The sister at the front desk has a high value and strong business ability. Although it is booked for friends, we also went to the room to make tea. The room was large and the sofa could sit on our four strong men. I asked the front desk and said that there were 45 square meters. No wonder, although I booked a big bed room, I thought it was a suite, I was very satisfied.

Thank you for the meticulous care of Manager Chen, who reminded me to buy the boat ticket and have breakfast! The hotel has a special car to pick me up. It takes 5 minutes by car from Neicuoao Wharf, and the beach is just outside the hotel🏖️! However, it is quite far to the snack street, so it takes about 40 minutes to walk. When I came back, I found a shortcut, which took about 30 minutes! We were the only ones walking back to the hotel at around 8 pm😅😅

Friendly, helpful staff clean rooms and a pleasure for a change to shower with decent water pressure and plenty hot water and be woken up by birds not traffic. Tailored to local taste but this is understandable considering I was one of maybe three Europeans I saw over the weekend.

The twin room is very family-friendly, with a large bed. The hotel service is very good. Before checking in, I added WeChat to let them know how to get there. I was given food, tea and drinks upon check-in. The breakfast is very healthy, with self-service bread, fruit and milk. The hotel also provides a very considerate laundry service. The location is also very nice, next to Sunlight Rock, and down is Shuzhuang Garden and the beach.

The balcony room is very good, with good ventilation and lighting. There is an elevator in Building 8. The hygiene is very good and the linen is clean and soft. The pick-up and drop-off service from the pier is great. It leaves on the hour and runs once an hour. There are different routes back and forth. You can even go to places that you can't walk by by car. The big trees in the large yard as soon as you enter the hotel are all decades old, including mango trees, jackfruit trees, phoenix trees, cockscomb trees... It would be very pleasant to cook tea by the fire under the trees without the crowds outside. There is a beach at the back door of the hotel, and sand digging tools can be picked up at the front desk. A few hundred meters outside the gate is Shuzhuang Garden, very close. Let’s talk about areas for improvement. The breakfast noodle soup was tasteless and too bland. It was far inferior to the noodle we had in the Xiamen hotel. I hope some seasonings can be added, such as meat sauce, Laoganma, coriander, etc.

The experience was great!! They contacted us in advance before check-in to guide us on buying boat tickets and giving us directions on the tour route, which was very considerate! Seeing that we brought our children, the kind-hearted lady upgraded us to a king-size bed room for free. The entire hotel environment is very beautiful. It should be the best one nearby. I look forward to having the opportunity to come to Gulangyu again in the future.

The hair dryer is a Dyson replacement style and is much easier to use than a folding hair dryer. Compared with the hotel's buffet breakfast, the breakfast at the B&B is more smoky, much like the breakfast at home, light but unique. Because at night, apart from tourists staying on the island, there won’t be too many tourists, so the queues at the snack street won’t be too long, and there won’t be many people at some attractions. You can check in and take photos at night . However, its location is too far from the pier. It is not recommended to bring a lot of luggage when going to the island. It took more than 20 minutes for the two of us to push our big suitcases from the pier to the B&B, even without the elderly and children. , although the staff at the B&B will help deliver the luggage to the room, the process of pushing the luggage on the road is really tiring. Also, at night, the alley at the door is so dark that no one dares to walk alone. Overall, this is a very cost-effective B&B. Gulangyu Island is also very beautiful. I recommend everyone to stay and play here.
