"This hotel does not meet the standards of a five star hotel. The hotel itself is underwhelming - the gym is pitiful with no mirrors, weights that have gone missing or stolen and poor lighting - and the rooms are small. The reception staff are not accommodating. I asked for a one hour late check out so that I could enjoy the beach on my last morning and it was refused point blank even though we stayed 3 nights. "

"Outstanding service, equal to the best I've encountered. Slightly unattractive from the outside, the hotel is great inside and has a terrific position on the beach within a small village well served by a small cluster of restaurants, cafes and bars. We had a larger/superior room amd loved its simplicity but high quality fittings and furnishings and the generous space and of course priceless sea views across the bay to the beautiful headland and island. Also enjoyed hiring a catamaran and sailing dinghy from the adjacent independent (if slightly brusque) boat hire place along the beach."
