The location of this hotel is just perfect. You are in the heart of Porto Cervo few steps away from the evening and night happening such as restaurants, lounges and movida. During the day you can take a boat shuttle from the hotel to the beach. In 15 minutes you are into the wild, away from the crowd, a perfect place to relax. I am very lucky. I am happy to book this hotel. The price of Ctrip is much better than booking. I didn’t have a room right after booking, haha, The lobby of the hotel is average, but it is very beautiful when you enter it. It is much more beautiful than the photos on the Internet. Like Xanadu, it is very cost-effective. The area of Porto cervo in Sardinia is where the richest people in Italy live. The hotels are very beautiful Expensive, this hotel is worth the money. The hotel also has a private beach. The last two are the yacht piers nearby, which are the most wealthy islands in Italy a The breakfast is also very rich. There are many delicious restaurants within a ten-minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend it. I am the first review by Ctrip. Haha.

We spent 2 weeks at Balocco with our family and from start to finish the staff worked hard to make our stay special. Balocco is a lovely boutique hotel sat on a hill about 5 mins from Porto Cervo but within easy reach and lovely views. Rooms are nice and air conditioned, cleanliness is excellent and your rooms are made when you come back from Breakfast! Pool area is lovely as is the food and bar area. Local restaurants surround the hotel without having to go into town all the time. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We only booked our stay 3 weeks before visiting for a week starting 9th September 2024 . We were there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. After booking we then read more of the reviews - then were worried what we had booked. However the reviews are so far from what we experienced. We really couldn’t fault the hotel! We booked the cheapest comfort room. Excellent room , very good size, had a sofa which was nice, very clean and well kept. Bathroom was very good with the best shower had in staying in any 4 star hotel in Europe. The room was on several levels but the hotel is built into the hillside so to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast had plenty of choice from excellent coffee, to freshly squished orange juice, hams, cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurts, at least a dozen different pastries each day, good bread. Hot food was a slight letdown but still delicious scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages every day. Lounge area was lovely with lots of comfortable sofas. Gym was small and limited equipment but husband was happy as used the exercise bike most days. Had 2 evening meals in the restaurant which were very good - pricey but the whole resort of Porto Cervo is very expensive. If you want cheap don’t stay in Porto Cervo !
