"I specifically booked a lake-view room at the West Lake Hotel for my trip to Fuzhou, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations – highly recommended! The full-length French windows offer direct views of West Lake, allowing you to admire the Min capital's lake scenery without even leaving your room. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, especially the bathroom. The showerhead had excellent water pressure, and the hot water was consistently strong and plentiful. The hotel service truly earned extra points. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and the housekeeping and concierge staff greeted me proactively whenever we met. Any small requests were handled promptly, providing thoughtful and attentive service throughout my stay!"

"I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!"

"The location is absolutely brilliant, right by the main road of the scenic area, yet as soon as you step through the door, you're in a secluded private courtyard. The wooden carved doors and windows, along with the vintage furnishings and ornaments, are incredibly detailed. The public lounge area is elegantly arranged, and the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming. My entire stay was wonderfully smooth."

"I chose to rest at the airport after my late-night flight, and this place was perfect for just checking in and going straight to sleep. It was incredibly convenient. The process was very simple: you swap your shoes for slippers as soon as you enter. There are two types of capsules. The slightly pricier one has a ceiling mood light with four colors – sky blue, green, dark blue, and purple – which switches between them in a super cool way, making it feel like you're in a starry sky. The ambiance is absolutely amazing. The reading light is a super bright white light, perfect for reading at night; it's clear and not harsh on the eyes. Overall, it's clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable. For someone like me who falls asleep easily, I was out within minutes of lying down, and it wasn't noisy at all. This is definitely my top choice for an overnight stay after a late flight. It offers great value for money and an excellent experience. I highly recommend it to anyone catching a late flight or needing a temporary rest!"

"Excellent customer service, friendly staff that goes above and beyond. Free laundry service at site. Located just in the center of SanFangQiXiang. Love the vibe! Their breakfast is also a highlight, various kinds of local traditional breakfast. We would definitely come back again."

"1. We arrived late, and the front desk staff was very friendly. Seeing that I had a child with me, they upgraded our room. 2. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, exceeding my expectations. The night view was stunning, overlooking the entire Sanfang Qixiang area! 3. The location is truly superb. Sanfang Qixiang is right downstairs, and the Lin Huiyin Memorial Hall and Yonghe Fish Ball old store are just a short walk away! It's also very close to the food street! There's a large shopping mall downstairs, making shopping very convenient. 4. Something unexpected came up, so we had to check out early. The front desk lady even gave my child a souvenir! It was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise! My child was very happy! In summary, choosing this hotel was an excellent decision, and we had a great time! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

The room was spotless, spacious, and didn't feel cramped at all. The bedding was really comfortable, and the soundproofing was great – it was very quiet. "The room was spacious, and there was plenty of hot water, plus the air conditioning worked really well. My only minor complaint is that they only offer laundry service and don't have a self-service laundromat. For summer travel, it's much more convenient to be able to wash and dry your own clothes. There was ample parking, which was super handy for picking up and dropping off people at the airport."

"The most unbearable thing about this hotel for me was the temperature. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, it felt stuffy and hot. When we checked in at the front desk, I even asked the staff about the hotel's temperature setting, and she said it was set at a constant 26 degrees Celsius. Sure enough, when we got to the room, the thermostat displayed 26 degrees. Even after lowering the temperature, there was no change at all. It was unbearable trying to sleep at night, so I called down. They sent an engineer who fiddled with the thermostat, bringing the display down to around 23 degrees, but honestly, it didn't feel much cooler; it still felt hot. Especially with the thick duvet, I couldn't get any sleep, so I had to call again and ask for a fan. The next day, I visited a client in the office building right next to the hotel. The moment I entered the office lobby, it immediately felt cool and comfortable. Just a single door separated us, and the difference in temperature settings between the hotel and the office building was noticeable. My client's office also felt comfortably cool. So, with it being summer now, having the hotel set at a constant 26 degrees is really unacceptable. If I hadn't had something important to do the next day and needed to check out properly, I honestly would have checked out and left right then and there."
