I encountered two issues during my stay:
1. My reservation didn’t show up in their system upon arrival, and I had to wait an hour for them to resolve the issue.
2. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room until I requested it four times.
Aside from these problems, it’s a good hotel overall.

It is obvious that the hotel is new, and this is a real joy for Riyadh. Convenient location, beautiful reception, level close to 5 stars, clean and beautiful rooms. Of the minuses, you need to come for breakfast early in the morning, otherwise there is a chance that there will be nothing left, and of course the prices are too high in Dubai for such a price you can live in an excellent 5 star hotel.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff and peaceful, clean stay. No complaints whatsoever. The hotel owner is extremely polite, clearly wants his guests to have an enjoyable stay and the pool was lovely. Facilities were included in our price and there was no hidden charges.

This hotel happens to be close to the airport and the city. They boast a full spa - but, nothing was working when I was there. It is rather disappointing when you base your decision on spending some time in a steam bath. Swimming pool is heated, but indoor and in an awkward place in the basement. Rooms are small but clean. Housekeeping is daily and is done with respect. Showers have strong water pressure. Room service is quick, but food here is basic, including the breakfast. In fact you can only eat scrambled eggs - don't expect anything more fancy. Overall, there are other choices in the city - choose well.

The Mandarin Oriental in Riyadh was, hands down, one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. This is a lot for me to say, since Saudi was my 65th visited country. The staff were truly amazing and were always there to help you out in every way possible. When asking where something is, they will not tell you … they will personally bring you there. Even if it is in one of the other buildings. It is easy to see that the management places service as a number one priority. As you wander around the hotel you will notice that every section is carefully designed and offers a new interesting feature to please the eye. Now, of course, the dining. On our first evening we had dinner in the Al Faisaliah tower in “The Globe” restaurant. Of course, we did enjoy the stunning views of the city on the observation deck before dinner. We selected the sampler meal with the cocktail matching which was very exquisite. The main dishes were the Chilean Salmon and the Australian lamb. The meal finishes off with a rich hazelnut chocolate dessert. For breakfast and dinner the following day we went for the buffet selections at “The Brasserie” which is located in the main building, The selections for both meals would take too long to describe here. From delicious Lebanese cuisine to a selection of Chinese, Italian and, naturally, traditional Arabic foods, there is something for everyone. The food is laid out with such detail and interesting placements … almost like a museum of food. The rooms are luxurious and, again, very stylish and detailed. From the heated toilet seats that open up when you enter and night lights that follow your movements when you are up late, they seem to have everything covered. The rooms are kept meticulously clean and well stocked with free water (and chocolates) several times a day. In the unlikely event that you do run out of something you can call your personal butler and he will be there quickly to provide what you need. The beds are large and comfortable and have all the pillows you could possibly need. The hotel has the usual spa and workout facilities and has pretty much everything you could want. There are, however, separate spa and gym facilities for men and women so if you are there with a spouse, you will be working out by yourself (consider this your alone time). So there you have it. If you are ready to feel pampered and well taken care of and are looking for a truly luxurious experience then you have to look no further than “The Mandarin Oriental Hotel” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Lush with 600-year-old olive trees, landscaped gardens and swaying palms, The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh is one of those Saudi Arabia luxury hotels that completely envelopes its discerning guests in majestic surroundings and discreet, attentive service. Discover an elegant oasis where spacious suites, a world-class spa, a stunning indoor pool, lavish wedding and event spaces and exceptional dining options provide the most unforgettable memories.

At checking in the service and kindness of staff was impeccable . The rooms are clean, hence the two stars. But even in the 6th floor they remain noisy, due to bad location - traffic wise, and they are outdated without enough daylight. Furthermore, due to early leaving in urgency (medical reasons) my stay was shortened with 1 day. The hotel granted me a refund which was perfect (again good service.) But now, a month later, I am still waiting for it… This hotel takes down the Marriott standards. Rooms: Outdated, dark, prison like as many described, but clean! Horeca: Great restaurants! Good service in restaurants. Additional details: office services and finalizations of business matters are poor and below any standards I ever experienced. If you are in the unlikely situation of needing extra assistance and get into an unfortunate position to receive additional help, in this case a refund for one day which was granted, you cannot count on thus Marriott. .
Our hotel is off King Fahd Road, directly across from Kingdom Centre. We are less than five kilometers from Riyadh Gallery Mall, Alkhaimah Theme Park, and King Khalid Grand Mosque. The Saudi National Museum, King Abdullah Financial District, and Diriyah Museum are within 20 minutes. We also have an on-site spa, gym, and pool with panoramic views of the city.

It is 45 minutes to 1 hour by car from the airport. The Kingdom Tower Sky Bridge is across the road. There are large department stores and affordable supermarkets within a 10-minute walk, which is very convenient.
The mattress is very comfortable, but the pillow is too big and I am not used to it. If you have time, you can find the front desk to change your favorite style. We were in a hurry to go back and forth and didn't have the patience to look for it.
The breakfast is rich but the taste is a little different from that of China, Japan and South Korea. It is more suitable for taking photos and checking in.
There are also facilities such as swimming pools and spas that I didn't experience.

GGuest UserDON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING TO THIS AWFUL HOTEL even if it’s the last place on earth. I have never been disrespected, ignored in any business establishment like this so called hotel suits. Read what happened and judge for your self. My reservation was confirmed by this hotel on Monday31 of January for three nights starting on Wednesday 2nd of February. I had no contact from the hotel representative and to make sure everything is alright, I tried calling. Unfortunately, the hotel number was disconnected. I thought that since my family are in their way from out of Riyadh I should go there and make sure and that’s where the show began. I arrived at 2 PM. At the front desk, a man eating a sandwich and yelling screaming at one of the workers was setting. I approached him and ask about my reservation. He confirmed and said it will be ready around 4 pm. I told him that it is stated that check in is at 3 pm. He said it depends. I sat in the lobby waiting. Then I heard the worker saying that two rooms are ready. Meanwhile, the man on the front desk was talking to a family saying that all booking are cancelled and the property has been closed due to maintenance. I quickly went to the guy and ask him about the situation. He said yes all bookings are cancelled. I tried to explain to him that you told me to wait and I heard the worker saying two rooms are ready. He said we closed the hotel. I instructed him to connect me with manager. He said I’m the manager and the owner and with a smile he said “surprised you right”. More that three families were in the lobby at that time. All came to see if this guy is serious. He told everyone that he’s the owner of the place and he cancelled all the bookings with a careless smile on his face. Now, I have been to more than 4 continents, visited numerous countries, and stayed in hundreds of hotels, motels, and homes, I have never ever in my life had seen a poorly managed property. I felt like the owner and the manager is intentionally belittling and controlling his clients because they paid have nowhere else to go. Among the people waiting was an old sick woman came from Qassim and was pleading to get a room that she paid for and the guy refused and said we closed the hotel for maintenance. Why I was informed to wait and then 15 minutes before check in I’m told that the hotel is on maintenance? How is the hotel on maintenance and I see family entering their rooms? What about the worker who said two rooms are now ready? Finally, why the careless attitude and unapologetic behaviour towards people coming to this place? My: stay away from this place even if it’s the last place on earth.
Aabumuhamed1261Very hospitaple and friendly staff ,great suites with amenities and people going out of there ways to help you.breakfasr was very generous buffet, not to forget the nuce smiling guys and friends in the rec eption. On top of all you are trully in the middle if everywhere wich is very valuaple in a big crouded city like riyadh…keep it up
JJinghuiThe room is large and comfortable, clean and tidy. There is a large shopping mall downstairs, which is convenient for shopping. It is very close to the subway station and bus station. It is very convenient to travel. There is an old market nearby, and it is very close to the market.
SSteve HKOverall the room and experience was pretty good - big room, with washing machine, microwave and various other things. There wasn't much service, but I want really looking for any, just a place to stay. There wasn't much in the immediate area, but it seems you need to drive/everywhere in Riyadh anyways, so it's pretty centrally located thinking about that. A weird smell initially in the bathroom upon arrival, but that seemed to dissipate... Overall a pretty good option if you get a good deal!
GGuest UserMy son and I attended the WWE Crown Jewel. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport and is in an ideal location to all major tourist attractions on the Boulevard such as Boulevard City, Park Mall, museums and the Arena Threatre to name a few. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone including families or groups traveling to Riyadh for a fun weekend or short break. The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Overall experience for us was 10 out of 10. Definately worth a visit if going to Riyadh.
AAhmedReception and check in is fantastic.
Didn't find a towel, but fortunately I had mine with me so I didn't bother to ask whether it's a mistake or intended.
Room is comfortable and clean.
For my visit location was good.
GGuest UserThe room is fully equipped with TV, sofa and small refrigerator. The bathroom is a bit compact and the 0.8-meter bed is a bit narrow. Everything else is good and livable.
This is a fake Hyatt, I thought this is a true Hyatt Hotel but landed up in a cheap hotel, they have used the brand name which isn’t legit and is bound to confuse any traveller. Biggest mistake not to check their website, I wish I would have checked with my friends in Riyadh but did a blunder. The hotel is no way close to Hyatt and is not a legit one. I’m unsure how this is being used to fool people.
