GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right next to Kingdom Centre and Kingdom Mall, and close to the subway station (though I never used it). The building is very prominent; you can basically use it as a landmark to find your way around the bustling downtown area. The front desk is odd, slanted, and quite small. It might be a business hotel, as there were many Caucasians discussing work in the lobby, and plenty of sofa areas for meetings. When I arrived, I requested a high-floor room, but they wouldn't switch it, claiming I arrived too late. The next day, I tried again, and they said they were fully booked. There was a noticeable difference in their attitude towards Chinese guests. The hospital across the street seems abandoned and desolate, and there's a building under construction next door, so the noise was significant. The decor is quite clean and simple. Breakfast was average—nothing special but not terrible either. The cleanliness was decent, though it's the usual standing in the bathtub to shower, haha. I really don't understand this about hotels in the Middle East.
SSami NejerI recently stayed at Novotel Riyadh Sahafa to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive.
A special thanks to Arwa Albousy, the Front Office Supervisor, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She arranged for a lovely room upgrade and even surprised us with a delicious cake in our room, which made our celebration even more special.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. The late check-out option allowed us to enjoy our time without feeling rushed, which I truly appreciated.
I highly recommend Novotel Riyadh Sahafa to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Riyadh. Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary memorable!
MMadinaAmazing hotel!
Room is spacious, bed is soft and very comfortable. We kindly requested later check-out since we checked in after midnight, and they accommodated our request.
Room has a work table with stationery.
Good toiletries and comfy bathrobes are provided. Concierge service is outstanding.
The location is slightly far from all the main tourist attractions, so bear this in mind.
Will definitely stay here again if traveling to Riyadh.
MMichelleI had an amazing check in service, we were spoken to extremely politely, the staff member Abdullah who checked us in was so helpful, we were asked if we wished to dine at the restaurant which was great as we were hungry after a very busy flight. The room was a perfect size. The bed was comfortable and hence a good sleep ensued. In the room there was a dish of complimentary fruits, some snacks, chocolates and water. The room had a rain shower and toiletries were available should you need them. 10/10 on cleanliness. Very close to the airport would definitely recommend and would stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserThe breakfast was very rich. The room is not particularly big, but it is ok. The location is good, there is a subway station downstairs, McDonald's and some other local restaurants and small supermarkets not far away, and it is not far from the city center.
GGuest UserHad fun because they have a lot of things going on for eid. Hope they'll train the guard to assist guess to speak english, at least ask if we are guess so they can allow us to park inside because we were asked to park outside because of miscommunication. Outdoor pool hours is bad. Until 5:30 only when it just started to cool down. Location is far from city center but food delivery reaches. Dunkin donut by the lobby also helps.
HH Stefan BrachaI have no words to describe how good this hotel is
Itreally feels like a five star hotel
I am a retired physician and I am from Honolulu Hawaii so know hotels. and traveling through Scandinavia in much of the rest Europe and the UK of the last four years I’ve stayed in more than two dozen four star hotels.
And this one is easily is in the top 10%
The service is the best of any hotel I’ve ever been in. from the reception desk to the restaurant staff, to the cheerful people who efficiently run the coffee shop in the lobby etc.
The buffet is beyond belief and à la cart menu is extensive and available late into the night
i’ve been to several well-known Middle Eastern restaurants in London in Oxford UK the buffet here is better than any of them
The end hotel has the grandest lobby of all two dozen that I’ve seen for the last four years
And the location cannot be beat
I intended to only stay four days, but extended to three times that one reason was, I wanted to try all the dishes in the buffet at least twice. I was planning to try some of the recommended restaurants in town, but decided that it is unlikely that there will be any better than the this hotels restaurant.
I was trying hard to think of anything negative to say just to show some balance, but I cannot think of anything
This is the place to stay if you are in Riyadh
TTONGThe hotel is located in the north of Riyadh, the new district, like the development zones of some cities in China. There will be a king's financial district and many high-rise buildings under construction in the urban area. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. But it is a bit far from the old town. The facilities of the hotel are very good, especially with a bathtub. There are no bathtubs in many international brand hotels in this desert city. The hotel's restaurant is also very good, the food and taste are very much like, the buffet has a lot of precious fruits, value for money.
