"Cute little accommodation which feels very homely ! Great communal area with used books and cute eatery. Staff super friendly and helpful. Cleanliness of standard and close to monastery."
"This Tibetan-style B&B is very close to Langmusi Town. The owner is a *******, very simple and warm. He will go to the mountains to pick small flowers with a special fragrance, dry them and then use them for aromatherapy every morning. The large French window in front of the tea table faces the mountain view. It is so nice to drink tea and chat here!"

AAnonymous UserThe wooden key card is a truly luxurious touch, and the guest rooms are both rustic and comfortable. It's a truly relaxing stay in this secret grassland retreat. The breakfast is rich and exquisite, and you can enjoy the rainy scenery while dining by the window. The evening fireworks show is breathtaking, and watching the fireworks against the grassland sky is truly captivating. Nestled among the grassland streams, the hotel feels like a paradise. Whether you're looking to connect with nature or seek a unique travel experience, this is the place to be!
GGuest UserWe drove to Gannan and stayed here on the first night. The environment was nice. We went there late, and the boss left someone there to wait for us. I had a headache and nausea early the next morning, and my blood oxygen was only 80. I saw online that it might be altitude sickness. I wanted to ask the boss's wife for two bottles of oxygen to see if it could relieve it. Unexpectedly, the boss's wife was very considerate. While comforting us, she arranged for the staff to take us to the hospital for examination. It was very heartwarming when we were away from home. Thank you to the boss's wife and the ******* brother who took us to the hospital.
QQiyiguo1125The guesthouse boasts a very artistic decor, which makes perfect sense as the owners are both university art teachers. The hosts are incredibly welcoming; they offered homemade yak yogurt as a welcome treat and even gave us small soaps as a parting gift. If you're driving, it's best to contact the owners in advance, as the guesthouse is nestled quite deep within a small mountain village. You can't drive directly to it; cars need to be parked on the road opposite the village, and a staff member from the guesthouse will come to pick you up on an electric tricycle. The rooms are clean and tidy, and you can even ask the hostess to light a ******* incense stick for you. In the evening, guests from different places gathered in the courtyard to chat, and it felt just like a group of old friends catching up. Breakfast consisted of a few simple, home-style dishes, but the auntie's cooking was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin and white rice porridge, in particular, was incredibly smooth and creamy – I had several bowls!
GGuest UserEverything and I are free verse 💚
The prairie is more beautiful than the filter🌻
The weather was gloomy when we drove all the way from Lanzhou. I was a little disappointed.
It wasn't until we arrived at Sangke Grassland that we suddenly saw the light.
Although the weather is not too good, it is still beautiful✌︎' ֊'
The local accommodation conditions are the ceiling
There is floor heating and a humidifier, so I slept very comfortably.
There are many horse farms around and ******* clothing experience
The prices are reasonable and the people are simple!
15 yuan for a braid rope, 2 yuan for a piece, 30 yuan for a piece of clothing
The little girl also said it was very cold at night and asked me to put it back on and return it tomorrow.
Didn't ask for my phone number, just said it's okay, no deposit required
I'm sorry I bought a few more accessories, the average price is only ten yuan (^3^)╱~
The hotel's food is surprisingly delicious
I wanted to try the local specialty barley wine.
The housekeeper specifically reminds you that drinking at an altitude of 3,000 meters can easily cause altitude sickness
But he gave me a cup.
The free drinks and coffee are also very generous
The grassland is cold at night
Braving the strong wind, the little sister also brought yogurt, which was also very delicious.
The downside is that there are fewer entertainment activities at night
There is no TV in the room. The weather is bad and the night is hard to see the stars in the grassland. It is recommended to enrich some entertainment activities, otherwise simply staying in a hotel and enjoying the scenery will lack some humanity.
The girls serving are young, pretty and friendly.
It is recommended to take your children to learn about the local customs.
Arrange some small handicrafts or grassland activities⌯oᴗo⌯
The hotel is very new and the service is great. Overall very satisfied!
To know joy, travel freely 💙💚
FFC6685The facilities are new and clean, the boss is hospitable, the scenery is pleasant, suitable for relaxation and stargazing. But because there is no air conditioning, it will be a bit cold in early June, and it should be more comfortable in July and August. I will come again if I have the chance.
LLightsleonThe scenery at Sangke Grassland is absolutely stunning! The Xiahe Yano Sangke International Camping Park is perfectly located; you open your door to an endless expanse of grassland, with blue skies and white clouds complementing the distant mountains. Every photo you take looks like a professional shot. The tent facilities are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the en-suite bathrooms are very well maintained. The staff are warm and attentive, promptly responding to any needs. In the evening, the prairie breeze is wonderfully refreshing. It's a truly immersive experience to enjoy the night on the grassland, far from the city's hustle and bustle. The food is also delicious, with fresh ingredients. Overall, it’s a perfect experience. This is a must-visit camping spot if you're in Gannan, and I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly nice, and the hotel is very clean and new. The owner is incredibly friendly. The room was also very comfortable, with a soft and warm quilt. The ethnic atmosphere was particularly rich. It was a truly wonderful stay! It was truly fantastic. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to any friends visiting Labrang Monastery in the future! It's truly excellent!
GGuest UserMy trip to Gannan ended, and I've been home for two days now. I have to add this belated review today.
Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”
Summary
This isn't just a hotel offering accommodations; it's a warm, grassland inn. If you're looking for a place on the Sangke Grasslands where you can experience local hospitality, this is definitely worth choosing. The owner's sincerity and the beautiful grassland scenery will be the most unforgettable moments of your trip.
TTaffyVery very good. Very warm with floor heating. Quiet. Beautiful cabin. Very beautiful scenery. The owner is very nice. Helped with luggage and delivered it to the room. Although the breakfast is simple, the side dishes are delicious. The breakfast is picturesque. Although there was no bonfire party on the day we stayed, the owner enthusiastically told us which direction to watch the sunrise. The family room is very large. It has two bedrooms and one living room. It is spacious for three adults and one child.
JJingshengjingseThe last stop of our Gannan trip was also the one that left the worst impression on us. When we first arrived at the hotel, we thought the service was ok. They helped us carry our luggage to the room, but the following experience greatly reduced our experience. When we arrived at the wooden house, someone came to let us ride horses. Because we were in the accommodation area, we thought it was a hotel, so we asked the price of 100 yuan for half an hour of riding in a big circle. There were 6 people riding horses, but we didn't know that they came back in less than 10 minutes. We didn't know where the person who agreed with us went, and we were threatened by the horseman. We found the hotel to help us deal with it, but we could only suffer a loss of 20 yuan to keep things quiet. We were all Tibetans and we were out again. This was the only depressing part of this trip. The room was generally ok. The upper bunk is not easy to climb up, the bathroom smells quite bad, there is nothing to eat around, it is very far, very far, very far from the county town and it is not convenient (Important things should be said three times). In fact, I don’t recommend staying here. Secondly, the hotel breakfast is too late. Since it is a homestay, it should have a sense of service, not catering to your time. The meal is not served until 8:30, which affects the departure. I saw several rooms were pushed with luggage by themselves at 8 o'clock. There was no one at the front desk in the morning of the second phase, so you don’t need to collect the deposit. In the morning, you have to wait for the front desk to refund the deposit, and you have to pull the luggage yourself. I shouted in the group for a long time to drive a tricycle to tow the luggage. In the end, I waited for half an hour before two people came and there was still no car, so the experience here is really bad, and the room rate is still the most expensive
