Zigong Hotels with Balcony

"Great little hotel in a terrible location. The hotel is in a now dead pedestrian shopping area that is under reconstruction. No escalator working, entering through the parking garage in the dark to take the elevator up. When I left even that access was blocked by trucks and steel. Horrible. Not a safe location and was one of the few times in China I have felt uncomfortable as a solo female traveler.  The room was lovely and very quiet. Good laundry facilities, comfortable bed, coffee available. The staff was nice. For now, however, this place is not recommended. Maybe when the construction is finished along the river."

"Since the hotel is located in the center of the old city, the China Lighting Museum, and the ”Salt History Museum” are about 10 minutes walk away. Fanhua 193 Food Commercial Street, Coal Dam Food Street, Tongxin Road Special Food Street, is next to the hotel. "The hotel is quite nice, located in the heart of the old town. Parking is easily found on Gaode and Baidu Maps. There are plenty of restaurants downstairs, all typical Zigong style. The hotel service itself is excellent; the front desk staff are very nice and answer all my questions promptly. The rooms are spacious, the hot water is strong, and the blankets are just the right thickness—perfect for a good night's sleep, especially on a rainy day. From the moment you step into the B&B, the unique sense of design hits you. The overall decoration style is unique, and every detail shows the designer's intentions. Whether it is the exquisite soft furnishings or the ingenious space layout, they all make my eyes light up and I can feel the perfect fusion of art and life here. The room facilities are complete and of high quality. The bed was super comfortable, the soft mattress and clean bedding made me sleep well all night, as if I was lying on a cloud. "This is a very nice hotel. They upgraded our room upon check-in. The design of the room was especially suitable for us traveling with elderly people, and we didn't interfere with each other. The only unpleasant thing was that the weather in Zigong was extremely hot during the two days we were there. The hotel asked for a few more bottles of water, but they were reluctant. Especially when checking out, the elderly asked for two bottles of water at the front desk, which was a bad experience. Nowadays, hotels of this level already offer free bottled water. They also give guests water to drink on the way home when they leave. This was a bit petty and made me feel uncomfortable."

To the right of the hotel entrance is a residential area, with many good restaurants a short walk away. The street on the right is generally cleaner. Service: Well-managed. Every staff member is clearly professional and friendly. When we returned from our visit, we happened to meet staff member Xiao Hu on duty, who immediately asked if we needed anything – very attentive. The front desk staff even provided guests with a detailed travel guide to Zigong, and the lobby offered complimentary freshly ground coffee. It's a pet-friendly hotel; we met many dog ​​owners. The breakfast was good, not luxurious, but very satisfactory for the price. I would definitely stay here again next time."
