Second time booking here and I just found out that we can request pans and cookware from the housekeeping. They even provided dish soap and sponge upon request. Good hotel location and amenities. Room was clean and with a good view from outside. Hubs and I enjoyed our staycation because we were able to prep meal inside the room. I also appreciate that they are now providing mats inside the room because that was my comment before. One pointer why I did not give perfect rating is because special request for complimentary birthday cake was not provided. While special requests are subject to the hotel, my boyfriend tried to explain the situation but sadly, it was not provided.

Y2 Residence is a bit along Makati Avenue (about 2.5 kms from Greenbelt Malls area) and around the corner from Century City Mall. There are numerous small restaurants within easy walking distance along Makati Ave and surrounds. We stayed two nights at Y2 Residence Hotel on our way from Palawan and prior to departing the Philippines and wish we had found it earlier. On arrival were were immediately made feel welcome , met on the road and our bags taken and carried in for us. (We had stayed in a number of places in the Philippines on this trip and our previous far more expensive where this did not occur). Check in was seamless, Y2 offers an online check in however we prefer face to face. Our room a One Bedroom Deluxe Suite on the ninth flooor, while not large was easily spacious enough for the two of us. A two seater lounge, a single chair with coffee table. A small dining table and a kitchenette large enough to cook in if you wanted. The bedroom was small with one bedside table on one side wih a cupboard with safe on the other. But really what more was needed. The bathroom is small (narrow) however had everything in it including an intantatious hot water system that provided hot water quickly. Even though we faced the main entrance and a building site was adjacent to us we were not disturbed by noise. However this may change as building increases. The view from the rooftop pool and bar area are worth the extremely slow lift up and down then walk up the flight of stairs, particularly as one lift was out of service while we were there making it even slower to get to any floor/ foyer. The lift was the most frustrating thing with our stay. The pool area and surrounds are not large and would if busy you would be lucky to find somewhere to sit, however while we were there we had not problems with this. As stated the view across the city is spectacular, take a few minutes to soak it in. Pros Excellent value for money Very good service, particularly the young trainees. Clean and comfortable room Rooftop bar and pool area with amazing views. Close to some incredibly food Good breakfast Cons Very slow lift system

Spa was mediocre. They need to improve on customer experience. Massage room too cold and no way to adjust temperature. No heated bed. Had to ask for more towels to keep me warm. Didn’t smell like a spa. Little musty. Therapist was good though.
The rooms are well appointed and very spacious. Complete with kitchen in a 2BR Suite. Bathtub too high for short people and may cause accidents. There’s a washer dryer combo that technically only washed clothes and kept clothes damp. The dryer was not efficient and we checked out with still damp clothes. 3 associates came to the room and tried to solve the problem. Their suggestion was to wash the clothes again so it will trigger the dry cycle. Never worked. Waste of time and energy. Dryer should dry clothes. Period.
Breakfast selection was good. Saw a little cockroach walk around the sushi area. 😲
The area can get so much traffic. Kalayaan Ave can get crazy busy. Give enough time and clear directions for your Grab diver if you want to make your appointments on time.

I booked Super Deluxe Queen Room or something, it’s a standard sized Queen bedroom with ensuite. Clean and new looking. No complaints. Pretty good view as well. The minibar was super cheap, which is a first for this traveller. Big enough for some extras too. The pool area was a nice place to hang out, with pool loungers and seperate smoking area. The poolside service for drinks etc was super slow so we didn’t order much. Swimming was but more challenging, the water was basically all chlorine and your eyes started burning the first time you stuck your head under the water. Wifi was good most of the time, but it and the TV went out on our last night when I was trying to rest up for my long flight the nest day. The hotel staff were in no rush to fix it. Either an effective way of ensuring your guests don’t hang out in their room prior to check in, or just too hard. The breakfast buffet was pleasant, I mostly had eggs, bacon, fruit, juice, and coffee. The omlette chef knew his stuff and the staff was discrete and polite. Nice place to be. Lots of variety for the hungrier among you, I had less and less each day after over eating the first time. The hotel restaurant was a saviour after a couple of heavy tourist days, but not really a restaurant, more a small bar with a long list of options. Service was slow and they seemed to have a vague idea of restaurant etiquette. Everything arrived at once, except the salad, which was large for one person, but small for more. They appeared to want to silver service it between us, and a bit offended when I ate it myself from the bowl. Once again, it wasn’t that big. Various attractive booths had the head rests dropped to make sitting there unappealing, I had fun not lifting them up but sliding in with them still down. The food, when it came was very nice for me, but my girlfriend did not like any of her dishes and I stuck to the things that worked for me the first time. The streets outside had a lot of eating options within walking distance and Grab delivers. The front counter staff helped me out of a couple of tricky situations, and were very polite to a confused, tired, first time in the Phillipines traveller. I am in pain all the time and partially disabled, the hotel was very easy to get around once you are inside. As is your access to taxis etc outside. Like everywhere in Manila the streets can be somewhat more treacherous. All in all a pleasant stay, not great, but you could do a lot worse.

The Belamy House is perfect for a short visit to Manila. We only stayed for one night due to us flying on to Boracay however our short stay was very pleasant. Although located on a busy road in the hustle and bustle of Makati, the hotel felt calm and safe. There was 24 hour security and the staff were very friendly. Rooms are small but clean and practical for a short visit. We would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Manila for a short trip or transiting! Thank you Belamy House!

Recently, my family experienced a death in the family. With family members coming from various locations in the Philippines to flying in from different overseas countries, we selected Privato Makati as it is within walking distance to our families house. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank the entire Privato Makati staff as well as the Privato Group to help accommodate our family during our time of mourning. I know it could not have been easy to handle various room changes, extensions, and allowing our family to use the Amalfi restaurant tables after restaurant hours so we could eat as a family. I would individually like to express my appreciation to Niña and Angela at the front desk. Niña absolutely went above and beyond explaining answers when we had a mix up with room reservations. Once again, thank you Privato Makati staff and the Privato Group.

AAzgalor7Outstanding place and extremely helpful host. Location is great that goes without saying. I was blown away with the quality of the room and all little thoughtful amenities like washing machine, drying rack, fan, extra bedding and towels just in case, additional extension cords. One of the best places I have had pleasure staying in. Unfortunately didn't take any photos of the room but it looks like in their add just even cleaner.

MMoe ChehabOverall, I had a pleasant stay at Citadines Benavidez. The staff at the front desk was excellent. They were very accommodating and allowed me to check in early and check out late. The room was clean and comfortable, although there was a small stain on the bathroom floor mat.
One disappointment was the hotel's policy of not allowing drinks by the pool, even if purchased from the hotel restaurant. The view from the rooftop pool was beautiful, and it would have been great to enjoy a drink while taking it in. Perhaps the hotel could consider allowing guests to bring drinks purchased on-site to the pool area.
Shoutout to the concierge team! 💕

GGuest UserThe kitchen contains various utensils, there is a coffee maker and a toaster, and there is a sink and dryer. The hotel is old, like the kitchen and sink wood, but the furniture has been renovated, and there is a dining table for four people. The price is high, the bathroom needs cleaning, there are stains, the TV is small and there is no YouTube, smoking is not allowed in most rooms The hotel has a place on the sixth floor that is open and there are no chairs. Some workers lack experience and need more training. They annoy you by hinting at giving them money, but some of them, on the contrary, are very excellent in dealing, and in particular the respected employee Alan in the hotel restaurant treats him professionally.

GGuest UserDuring my recent trip to Makati, I stayed at Abraham Manila. After a 4-hour bus ride from the province, arriving at Abraham Manila was a welcome break. I chose their double room, which was just right for my short stay in Manila. The room was cozy and comfortable, providing a nice place to relax. If you're looking for affordable options, they also have dormitory accommodations. One of the best things about my stay was the water refills on the 7th floor, which was really handy. And having a dedicated working booth was great for getting work done remotely in a quiet space. The staff at Abraham Manila were amazing, always ready to help with anything I needed. Plus, the hotel's location in Poblacion, Makati, was perfect. There were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to explore, making it easy to find something new to try each night.
I stayed at Artemis with my family, we rented two rooms. This Hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness.Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. The Hotel is within walking distance of Cash and carry shopping mall were you can shop or get something to eat. There is also a 7- 11 store very close. The lady at reception, her name was Joanna ,was very helpful and professional.Joanna was able to give us useful advice on a range of issues, such as hiring local taxis. All the staff we met were both helpful and pleasant.I could recommend Artemis Place as a good place to stay.
GGuest UserI love Picasso Botique Serviced Residences — it is great place to stay. The room is spacious, artistic and relaxing. The reservations team ( Ms. Jen and Ms. Cassie) are very accomodating and made the booking hassle free. There are also great nearby restaurants which is very recommendable. All in all, it is a perfect place.

Very Good
GGuest UserFirst impressions can be deceiving. We arrived at 8pm in the dark and while the Somerset was well lit, most of the street was in darkness and deseeted. We wondered where we had booked and what we had got ourselves in to. Those thougths we very short lived as we were wormly greeted by the concierge and security. Check in was smooth and efficient and we were thrilled when told we had been upraded to a one bedroom executive suite. The suite was a two room suite with seperate lounge/dining area and large bedroom with a very spacious queen size bed and good sized bathroom. The cocktail bar in the foyer was a great find with some many beers or spirits to choose from. It appeared very popular with locals which is a good indication of the qulaity of drinks. We were able to order hot snacks which kept us going until the following morning. Breakfast was was wonderful with a mixture of buffet and al e carte (table service). we rally couldn't fault breakfast. During our stay we used the pool area and were surprised that we were almost the only ones using it. It was refreshing without being cold and well looked after. My only crticism is that there were no pool towels, nor anyone to ask for one. Somerset's location is a little bit further than expected to the Greenbelt area but still easily walkable or catch a grab. The service and quality certainly changed our initial impression

AAnonymous UserThe place is great and very accessible. However, there were minimal issues when we get there, the wifi is not working properly so we have to contact the host to ask them for help to fix it. Another issue was there are mini cockroaches (was not able to get the photo from my friend's phone yet) and amenities were incomplete like there were no slippers provided because as per the host they ran out of stock already. Good thing was that whenever we tried contacting the host, they are answering the call immediately.
No star at all to give.It is the worst hotel we ever stayed at.We have to call assistance to turn on hot water for shower. Can't use the elevator when we want to use. You have to call assistant to operate it They gave us a crappy filthy room. I will put pictures of dirty sheets. They could have refund us the money after asking we don't want to stay. Even we booked this thru booking. com the property still could refund us. I know its non refundable but when you got put in an dirty old filthy room customer have the right not to stay because of how filthy the room is but yet we are like a prisoner its because it is already paid prior to our arrival we have to keep the room or we will loose our money. I guest it is a lesson learned. Do not booked without cancellation. Our 3 nights stay was a disaster. The manager only want to upgrade so they can sell us a different room. He didn't do much for us at all. He has the guts to asked me if that was my firs time booking in a hotel and made me feel I dont know much about booking with hotel partners. Mind you I have a lots of booking made with different hotels. We just don't want to keep the room given to us. We were supposed to be at the 5th floor but Kristell put us on the 1st floor where it is old ugly filthy room and bed wasnt even a double bed. It is like a single/twin bed. I had stayed so many times into a double bed plus our bed at home was double bed too and nothing compare to that bed that was in the room where we booked. This people at the lobby was crooked specially the guy behind the reception desk. We will never ever give them another chance at all again. People, do not make a big mistake booking at this worst filthy hotel at all
