Location was great, check in was quick and easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was nice & big, right next to the pool. I had a great stay.

My wife and I together with our son and his wife stayed at Junjungan Ubud Hotel for two nights in October as the first stopover of our holiday tour of Indonesia. Junjungan is special as it is a countryside accommodation located in the middle of a rice field. As we entered our room, we were greeted by a handwritten note from the management, so touching and so personal . The view from the balcony of our room was incredibly beautiful, very different from the view we get at city hotels. The atmosphere in the early morning was so peaceful and tranquil. Beneath the hotel was a small stream providing a continuous sound of running water - giving a unique feel and ambiance. There was no lift to the first floor rooms. We had to negotiate 24 steps to go to our room, and another set of 24 steps to go down to the basement where the restaurant was located. It was challenging for 81 year old me. The room had a traditional Bali decor, a king size poster bed, and wooden cupboards. The bed and the pillows were comfortable; the hugging bolster was a welcome addition. There was a giant tub in the bathroom. The lighting in the room was not bright enough for reading. To operate the TV and to change the channels was a challenge; it was complicated. A written guide should be provided. Our first dinner was at the basement restaurant, but to avoid using the steps, our breakfast and future meals were with room service. The hotel provided a free shuttle transport to town, which was very useful. Ngurah, Siwi and the team were wonderful, so warm, so efficient and ever ready to help. They were an asset to the establishment.

Overall this was a lovely resort, with amazing and attentive staff and very yummy food. Food: The buffet breakfast that is included is amazing. There is so much variety and they change the options every day. There is a mix of breads, pastries, puddings, fruits, and Asian dishes as well. There is an egg station to get made to order eggs as well. I am a vegetarian and was never hungry. All the food tasted amazing. The on-sight restaurant has plenty of choice too. Resort rooms, pool and amenities Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The pool was always busy but there were lots of lounge chairs. The resort itself is gorgeous, the amount of plants around the place makes it feel like you are in a private jungle oasis. The staff keep the grounds looking amazing too, the whole place was just spotless everyday. -on sight shuttle to take you into town Staff: The staff are amazing, they are all so friendly, always smiling, so polite, always willing to help and they never let anything slip past them. They keep the place immaculately clean and are just some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Any question or concern you have, they just go above their way to help you and are just so kind about it. You can also tell the passion they have for making this place look so good too. Seriously, huge shout out to the staff, they are incredible. Location: The location of this place is a little bit out of town. Above an 8minute scooter ride. Personally, the location was not an issue for us because we had rented scooters. If you do have your own transport the location is a non issue. If you do not have scooters, they have a shuttle that takes you into town multiple times a day. Verdict: I would not hesitate to book this place or recommend this place. It was the nicest place we stayed at during our trip to Bali

I always love staying at Komaneka Rasa Sayang when in Ubud and have stayed there many times on my own, with friends and with family. My last visit was with my brother who joined me from Cape Town. He absolutely loved it. The service is exceptional and I always feel very spoilt by the amazing staff and it does feel like it is my second home in Bali. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Ubud. From the moment I arrive, I am always welcomed back like family. The rooms are so beautiful and spacious with gorgeous bathrooms and balconies with daybeds overlooking lush greenery. A jar of home made cookies and fruit basket is a lovely touch. The hotel is set back from the main road but it is so peaceful and only steps away from the centre of Ubud with lots of great shops and restaurants and the monkey forest. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing surrounded by palm trees, nature and the sound of running water from the river below. The staff are so attentive at the pool and it is a great spot to enjoy the daily complimentary afternoon tea. The breakfast is delicious and has lots of variety. The restaurant setting is beautiful overlooking the pool. If something is not on the breakfast menu, just ask and the staff will go out of their way to make it for you if possible. I wish to compliment Ari at reception for her exceptional and always polite and friendly service. I did miss seeing Ibu Desak and Sitiari this time. Can’t wait to be back there again

This establishment was really welcoming and the staff are so warm. The room was comfortable and clean; the quietness and serenity of the surrounding makes this hotel unique. They care a lot about their guest and how their feel, during my last day I didn’t go down for breakfast and they called my room to ask if I wanted to have breakfast in my room and that was thoughtful.

Generally ok. Service 'on demand': if your need toilet paper - ask for it, hot water - ask for it, towels - ask. Breakfast and pool are good.

Eating breakfast in front of slowly dispersing clouds is the best experience of this trip. It may be that the hotel is relatively old, the toilets are not temperature sensitive smart toilets, and the facilities are average; the environment is good, open the balcony to enjoy a lush canyon privately; the service is the biggest failure in this trip, and the most anticipated local experience activities have been repeatedly communicated It was only three times that the choice of chargeable items was provided, and during the whole check-in process, I didn't realize the intention at all, only a professional fake smile. As a whole, it is an experience that is not as good as 2,000 yuan in domestic intercontinental, and it is not recommended.

The location is the main attraction for this hotel. It is just opposite to Kuta Beach. It is in the center which we can find easy to have a walking around kuta. One thing is that we got confused or hotel didn't provided proper information in Expedia. We booked the hotel just it is near to beach and with the swimming pool. But when we were about to check-in the Receptionist told us that our room was assigned in the ground floor and moreover we found there was no window in the room. But it was our fault of not checking properly in the internet. Because they had the 2 building under same hotel name and the one we choose was mid-range and other was luxury.Breakfast was super and the rooftop swimming pool, we enjoyed there. Rooms were clean and the service was excellent.

Perfect for the budget conscious yet this hotel offers everything you'd want in amenities and comfort. It has a beautifully clean swimming pool with excellent sun lounges and the rooms are far enough away from the street to be quiet and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the house-keeping is thorough and professional. The bed in my room was very comfortable and great size, the bathroom is clean and there was enough storage space for a comfortable few days. It is less than ten minutes from the airport which is perfect for transit travellers and only about ten minutes walk to German Beach. Very close to Lippo Mall and is at the heart of the restaurants area of Jalan Kartika Plaza. If you're not into 5 star resort type luxury, this hotel is ideal and I would happily stay here again.

Really nice hotel in the ITDC area of Nusa Dua, easily accessible, safe and with a long pool and an Indonesian Style buffet breakfast. The rooms are a good size and very clean, well worth the price. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they are incredibly polite and accommodating to guests . Special shout-out to Dewak who was very very helpful throughout my stay here and helped me out without fail. He knows the area well too and so gave me good recommendations for coffee places and places to get good food and drink! Will stay here again for sure!
