The service was five stars and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast, dining is also good, fresh and delicious. Love the hotel's infinity pool and watch the sunset here every day. The only thing that felt inadequate was that our room was near the road, and the sound insulation was not very good. I heard the roar of motorcycles at 11 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the Indonesians were lazy and quiet in the morning.

The hotel's Candidasa feels like a less developed town, and many shops are closed. The hotel has a swimming pool restaurant spa and gym, and it is a good choice to play in the hotel. The restaurant and swimming pool are right by the sea but there is no beach. The hotel's environment is comparable to 4 or 5 star level hardware. The service staff is very patient, but the problem is that their work is not stress-free, but the efficiency is low, but the attitude and the ability to solve the problem are all good, slow, slow-paced life. Our recent stay at Lotus Bungalows in North Bali, Candidasa, was nothing short of magical. We had booked a superior room, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like we were embraced by nature. The lush surroundings and tranquil ambiance set the perfect tone for a relaxing getaway. We were there to celebrate my partner's birthday, and the staff made it truly memorable. They went out of their way to surprise us, decorating the room with festive birthday decorations, a delicious cake, and beautiful flowers. It was such a heartfelt gesture that made us feel incredibly special. The culinary experience at Lotus Bungalows was a delight. We tried the octopus salad, and it was simply divine. Breakfast each morning was also a treat, with a variety of delicious options to start our day right. What truly made our stay remarkable, though, was the staff. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care left a lasting impression on us. They made us feel at home, and their hospitality was filled with love. Our time at Lotus Bungalows was an unforgettable blend of nature, celebration, and warmth. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories there.

Come here as a family with children or as a couple for a calm, quiet, relaxing holiday. Hotel with magnificent views of the Bali Sea and the Pacific Ocean. The first line, admiration from the ebb and flow. Superb ocean views from anywhere in the hotel. The pool is great! Divided into three zones by depth. There is a bar-restaurant right next to the pool. It turns out to be a kind of Beach Club. Our room had a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator and utensils. Nearby, outside the hotel, there is a “cafe” serving local cuisine. They don’t look very presentable (you have to understand that this is a village), but the food is delicious and not very expensive. There are also shops with everything you need. And snorkeling... aerobatics... that's what we came here for... We recommend visiting this area of ​​Bali and this hotel!

Alam Candi is a small resort in Candidasa on the beach. The bungalows are each surrounded by fish ponds and each room has an outside bathroom. Breakfast was included and it was very good each morning to have it overlooking the ocean, Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. The pool is beautiful and big and always clean. The bar area is right there so you can order drinks and snacks by the pool. It is down a small laneway and the fishing boats come in each morning to unload their catch. Only a short walk up the lane to restaurants, shops, bars and the main street of Candidasa. A beautiful resort with wonderful staff.

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). A beautiful place with so much potential but.... On our first night, we heard a rat going around the roof allllllllll night. We woke up and found rat poop everywhere even near bed. We asked for room change, and we didn't hear anything at night anymore after chaging our room, but every morning we found rat poops near bed. Also, not being able to use Grab is a huge issue. Local drivers charge ridicuolous amount of money so if you are planning to tour around ubud center, then this resort is not for you.

Quiet, safe and clean. Refurbished and feeling good. Pools are amazing. Staff are friendly, competent and eager to help. Right on the beach. Having been a frequent visitor over the years I am very happy with the incredible improvements over the last years. It just keeps getting better. If you want to relax and recharge, this hotel is superb. Get a tan, workout in exercise room overlooking beach, or treat yourself to a professional treatment at the Spa. It is close to the centre of Lovina (walking distance) but far enough so you dont hear music pumping in the early hours. I have been coming to Bali and Lovina for 30 years and my choice for a reasonably priced and well appointed hotel is Sunari.

My best friend of 20 years and I recently went on our first ever girls trip (we are now both 40) and booked our first 3 nights at Sun Island Hotel and Spa Legian. Upon arrival we were both delighted with the architecture and presentation of the hotel, both clean and modern, yet still authentically Bali and traditional. Check in was a breeze, and every staff member we encountered was not only friendly and helpful, but genuinely cheerful. It says a lot about a place when ALL the staff are that happy all the time! Particular mention goes to the Restaurant manager who welcomed us warmly by name every morning with the most beautiful smile and upmost of care. We stayed on the ground floor in a twin share room, which was spotlessly clean, with fantastic aircon. It had a small balcony big enough for one person to stand on to vape, and the absence of any cigarette smoke on the premises was a DELIGHT. The pool areas (there are 2) are truly spectacular! We stayed away from the rooftop as we are both sun sensitive and it is better suited to sun worshippers working on their tan. The 4th floor pool bar suited us perfectly, with plenty of shaded areas for relaxing on sun lounges. Yes, the decking is in need of maintenance, but from what I understand works are set to replace the decking starting June. I can't wait to return to see the upgrade. Although the pool bars were not permanently staffed throughout our stay, a quick call using the bar phone, had whatever we required delivered quickly to us with no issue at all. It was actually such a luxury to have that pool area to ourselves most of the time. The view from the 4th floor Infinity pool is pretty special, and I thoroughly enjoyed living my best mermaid life splashing about. Breakfast every morning was basic, but delicious, consisting of fresh cooked eggs to order, alongside a buffet of noodles, rice, fruit and pastries. Food service was consistently great every morning. At the end of our 3 night stay we were both so sad to leave as the location of the hotel is absolutey PERFECT. Close enough to be walking distance to all the action and nightlife, we felt completely safe at all times, yet far enough away to be silent of a night time when we needed to sleep (in super comfy beds mind you). After a hiccup at our next hotel within a couple of hours of arriving,that we both couldn't look past, we made the decision to check out and return to Sun Island. To our delight, not only were we welcomed back with literal open arms, we were offered the same rate we had been paying (was an early bird rate when we booked and this was now a weekend) but put straight back into our freshly cleaned original room. Above and beyond doesn't even come close to the service we received. A small issue with the aircon was attended to as soon as we made mention of it and the remainder of our stay just felt like home. We both can't WAIT to return to Sun Island Legian on our next Bali adventure!
