Melaka Hotels with Bars

The hotel sits right along the Melaka River, offering daytime views over stretches of red-tiled heritage rooftops and lovely riverside light views at night. It's just a short walk to the Stadthuys (Dutch Square) and the Melaka River Cruise jetty. It's a classic, older hotel with vintage decor and somewhat dated facilities, but overall it is well-maintained—rooms are clean, and all the basics work properly. The breakfast deserves special praise: with a great variety and delicious options, it was definitely a highlight of the stay. Summary: Highly recommended if you prioritize great views, easy access to the historic city center, and don't mind the retro charm of a heritage property.

Facilities: Very charming, with a strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) vibe. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: Great. The location right by the river makes it convenient for walks, and it's not far from Jonker Street, so you can easily explore all the attractions on foot. Service: Excellent. They offer service with a smile, and the staff are very warm and helpful, even opening doors for guests.

Had a really pleasant stay at Christee Suites Hotel Melaka with my family. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids, and the room was spacious and comfortable enough for all of us. The bathtub was definitely a highlight for the kids — they really enjoyed it! The room was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the family to relax after a day of exploring Melaka.

Location: Not exactly in the city center, but it takes about 10 minutes by taxi to get to central areas like Airport Street. Overall, it's pretty decent. Cleanliness: Very good, spotless. Value for money: Alright. If you come during the off-season, around 400 yuan would be a good price. Wi-Fi: Super, super slow. This is the only thing I'd complain about at this hotel. Soundproofing: Not great; you can hear people talking or walking outside. But thankfully, people are generally considerate, so it didn't really disturb my rest. Room facilities: The room facilities are also good, except the hairdryer isn't very hot. Bed: The bed is a bit firm for my liking.

The hotel's location is great, right by the sea. It's a ten-minute walk north to the cruise terminal and Dutch Square, and then across the river to Jonker Street. Heading south along the coast takes you to the Straits Mosque. The rooms are quite spacious, and the facilities and cleanliness are very good. The breakfast is extensive, and all the food stalls are run by Chinese chefs. The afternoon tea is excellent value for money (45 MYR for two people). The staff are all very friendly, and one person at the front desk speaks Chinese.

Hotel is clean, spacious and have a big window view, bed is very comfy and cozy. Everything was ok for me. There are different lights and have a lamp on bed side which I like. I would suggest to give better quality toilet paper. Receptionist helped us to charge out phones at lobby while waiting to go back. Breakfast at hotel is nice with affordable price, meet our expectations. Location is not very far from Malacca attractions.

This hotel is located within walking distance to Jonker Street. Built Melaka, and Stadhuy's, as well as to many cafes and eateries. While one may point to many other hotels populated there. Ibis Melaka stands out above most others with clean and working facilities and amenities. I have stayed in a number of hotels there and I can safely say that the hotel will meet the expectation of many people. The reception staffs are efficient. The cleaning staffs are hardworking. I had a restful stay there.

This is my second time staying at Silverscape Premier Suite, and I'm still very satisfied with the experience. I really like the location; it's convenient for transportation, and parking is easy. The whole environment is quiet and comfortable, making you feel like you're staying at home, which is very relaxing. The bed is also super comfortable, and I slept very well at night. The host is very kind and friendly, and keeps the apartment very clean and tidy. The self-check-in process was smooth; just follow the video and check-in guide provided by the host, and you can easily get settled. Although it's a small apartment, it's fully equipped with all the basic necessities, making it very convenient and feeling just like a warm home. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this stay. There are cafes and Chinese restaurants right across from the apartment, and the host also recommended a great restaurant serving local and Western cuisine. My favorite place to visit is the 1-Altitude Sky Deck Bar & Restaurant on the 43rd floor, where you can enjoy beautiful 360-degree night views of Malacca. It's definitely worth a visit. Also, I highly recommend visiting the Chinese Muslim Mosque; the architecture is stunning and perfect for photos. This stay was truly enjoyable, and I will definitely come back to stay here again on my next trip to Malacca! 😊😊👍

My stay was just for a night so there is nothing much to review. However, the hotel had refurbished from the last time I stayed back in before covid. Some upgrade and change of appliances should be considered like: Hairdryer (still the old traditional one which attached to the base and need to press it to make it work; the blower was so weak that I need to take more than 10 mins to dry my shoulder lenght hair, iron (mine was plastered with tapes as I think it was broken). While all the rest were good for a night sleep over.

Close to SOGO 😁😁 Right downstairs from the hotel, you'll see shops all around 👍🏻👍🏻 You can go shopping just by walking 😄😄
