"My stay at the hotel was wonderful, all thanks to the administrator, Syahir. He came immediately after my call, explained everything, helped me with an adapter because my plug didn't fit, and assisted me with everything I asked for. I also liked that the hotel had a water cooler, so I didn't have to worry about water. Everything in the hotel is quite new, very clean, and everything works perfectly. I had no complaints about the quality of the room. It's only a 10-minute walk to the main street, which is very close. For this price, I'd give it five stars! You won't find a hotel of this quality at such a price."

GGuest UserIt's very close to Jonker Street, just across a bridge. However, I was misled by the photos; I thought there was a public pool when it's actually located within a luxury suite. Still, the shower and toilet were quite convenient, and the overall place was clean.

1. Plenty of paid parking in front of the hotel. You will need to download an app to pay for parking.
2. Walking distance to Jonker Street & restaurants. You will never have to stress about booking Grab to get to Jonker Street & get stuck in the traffic.
3. Free breakfast. Slightly chaotic as there’s limited tables and chairs at the dining area (next to reception), but breakfast provided are decent. I would suggest allowing guests to bring their breakfast & eat in hotel.

Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.

the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

MM19995****My first stay here was with my child during the summer holiday, and this time it's for work. Both times have been quite good, at least the place is clean. It's located right in the old town, which makes shopping super convenient. The security access is also pretty good and safe. And you absolutely cannot miss the durian ice cream shop not far from here – it's amazing! 😎

AAnonymous UserThis was my third time staying at this hotel. This budget hotel has a good location in the Melaka town area, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and famous eateries.
The hotel decor and furnishings look rather dated, room was simple but comfortable, though the cleanliness could have been better. The Wi-Fi was not very stable, but the water pressure was great. A water dispenser is provided, and roadside parking is available.

Right next to the river near st. Frances Xaver church, some of the best Cafés and Restaurants are right next door. Go to baba Kaya early in the morning for tea and toast next to the river or ban kengh for most amazing scrambled eggs and cappuccino, have lunch at Patma's for the very best roti and lassies and the nicest people and go for the night market or the Indian restaurant around the corner for night snack.....
The house is old and charming, with a lot of antique interiors. The room was clean, the aircon worked fine as well as the hot water. Had the room on the second floor with a balcony to the street. Check in and out is around the corner, working without any problems!

AAnonymous UserStayed at Vintage Inn @ Melaka as a budget-friendly option during my trip to Melaka. The location is quite convenient(near Melaka Riverside & walkable to Jonker Street, Dutch Square) and the price is affordable, which makes it appealing for short stays or backpackers.
However, cleanliness left something to be desired, especially in the shared bathrooms, which could use more frequent cleaning and maintenance. The overall atmosphere of the inn is okay, but a little more attention to hygiene would really improve the experience.
