eagle001The room was very clean and well-equipped, with large windows offering a great view. It's located right above a large plaza, next to the Sultan's Palace, and very close to all the main attractions in Malacca. The breakfast was simple – bread, milk, and eggs, which you could heat up and spread with jam. It was decent enough. The eggs were soft-boiled 'onsen' style, which some people might not be used to.

Anonymous UserI booked this hotel for a one-night stay. While the front desk service was excellent and the room was clean and well-maintained, I unfortunately would not choose to stay here again, especially considering the price point.
The room was also smaller than I expected, particularly the bathroom. Space felt quite limited, which made the stay less comfortable than anticipated. For the price paid, I expected a more spacious and practical room layout.
The biggest issue for me, however, was the lack of soundproofing. The walls seem extremely thin, and I had a very poor night’s sleep because of the constant noise. I was repeatedly awakened throughout the night, starting from around 5AM.
The noises came from both inside and outside the hotel, including motorcycles passing by, people talking and laughing loudly on the street, footsteps on the stairs, doors closing, cups and mugs being placed on tables, housekeeping activities, and vacuum cleaners. At times, the sounds felt as if they were coming from right next to my bed.
For the rate charged, I believe there are other accommodations that offer much better value and a more comfortable sleeping environment. A good night’s rest is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and unfortunately, this property fell short in that regard.
That being said, I would like to commend the staff for their friendly and helpful service. I also appreciated the complimentary snacks and free-flow water available in the pantry. These were nice touches that enhanced the overall guest experience.
Another positive aspect is the parking. For guests who are driving, the hotel provides complimentary parking spaces, and the parking area is relatively spacious. This makes it convenient and hassle-free for those traveling by car.
Overall, the service and cleanliness were good, and I appreciated the parking facilities and pantry amenities. However, the small room size and poor sound insulation significantly impacted my stay. Unfortunately, this will likely be a one-time stay for me.

Anna Li 6373This is my second time staying at this hotel. The bar staff even speak Mandarin, and there are more food options nearby, especially the breakfast noodle soup and iced coffee next door, which are really to my liking. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

There is not much choice if food. Not worth RM25 per person for breakfast. You can get much cheaper and nice breakfast outside. There is bed bug in the room. Cleanliness was drop from my last year visit. Location is good.

Lennice TanI was very satisfied! After booking the room, I saw a lot of bad reviews and was worried it might be terrible. But it turned out I was very happy with everything, especially the room. I stayed for three nights and it included three breakfasts. If I get the chance to visit Malacca again, I'll definitely come back to stay here.

MHA79K*Stay at Mutiara Bali Melaka | 06 – 08 June 2026*
*Overall: 3.5/5* — An alright stay for our family.
We stayed 2 nights with our family of 4. The apartment was spacious, which was a huge plus, and having 2 separate bathrooms made things so much easier for a big family or with small kids.
*Cleanliness: 3/5*
Room was okay overall but there were noticeable water stains on the floor tiles, like it was mopped in a rush. Also found strands of hair on the floor when we arrived. Could be better with a more thorough clean between guests.
*Service: 4/5*
Host was very friendly online and extremely prompt in replying to messages. Any questions we had were answered quickly, which we appreciated.
*Location: 3/5*
A bit far out near the coastal line, so it’s not walking distance to Jonker Street or the main tourist spots. But there were some nearby shops and eateries, so it wasn’t too inconvenient if you have a car.
*Amenities: 4/5*
Well-equipped for a family stay. Beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was useful. The 2 bathrooms were the highlight.
Spacious and functional for families, with great host communication. Just needs improvement on cleaning detail. We had an alright stay overall and would consider it again if cleanliness improves.
Grateful for the time spent together as a family.

Melaka Apartment Hotel – A Relaxing Stay with a View
Our stay at Melaka Apartment Hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. One of the first things we appreciated was the spacious and ample parking area—a big plus, especially when traveling with family by car. We never had to worry about finding a spot.
The location is also a major highlight. It's close to the city center, popular attractions, and plenty of dining options, making it easy to explore Melaka without spending too much time on the road. Whether you're in the mood for sightseeing or just looking for local food, everything is just a short drive or walk away.
The apartment came with a balcony facing the sea, and this was easily one of our favorite features. It was so relaxing to sit outside, feel the sea breeze, and watch the cruise ships from a distance—a simple but memorable experience that added a peaceful touch to our trip.
The swimming pool was large and clean, perfect for both adults and kids. Our children especially had a great time splashing around and enjoying themselves, which made the stay even more worthwhile for us as parents.
Overall, Melaka Apartment Hotel offers comfort, convenience, and scenic charm—ideal for families looking for a short getaway with everything within easy reach. We would definitely return!

Excellent location! Right in the heart of Jonker Street, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The room was small but charming, very clean, and well-equipped. The front desk staff spoke fluent Chinese, and their voices were soft and friendly. Definitely recommend this place for accommodation in Malacca!

OMAR AL-ATTASDuring our staycation in Melaka, we spent a night at Hotel Sentral Riverview Melaka. The hotel is located along Jalan Tun Ali, next to The Store and close to several eateries, making it quite convenient if you're looking for food or basic necessities.
The room was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The air conditioning worked fine, although it took a little time for the room to cool down. The hot shower was okay too, but the water temperature could be a bit inconsistent at times.
WiFi is available, although the connection wasn't the most reliable during our stay. The room also comes with a TV, plus complimentary coffee and tea. Drinking water can be refilled from the water dispenser outside the room, and ironing facilities are provided in the common area.
One thing families may appreciate is the small playground and colouring corner in the lobby, which gives kids something to do while waiting around.
Overall, it's a simple and affordable hotel that's suitable for a short stay in Melaka, especially if you're travelling with family and just need a comfortable place to rest.

Aaira_ammarThe spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.
