Twiggy H.LeeJust got back from Dusit Princess Melaka and honestly, really happy with the stay. Got a room facing the Melaka River which made it so much better — woke up to a nice view and it's really relaxing especially in the evening with the lights along the river.
Room itself was big and fully equipped, felt more like a proper holiday stay than just a hotel room. One thing to note — it's not really walking distance to Jonker Street, more like a quick 5 min Grab ride away. But no complaints there because right next to the hotel there's already 2 Chinese hawker stalls, so kalau lapar tinggal jalan kaki je. There's also a KK Mart right there for snacks, drinks, or anything you forgot to pack, and a 24hr halal food store nearby too so late night cravings are sorted.
Overall solid stay — comfy room with a great river view, good amenities, and food options literally next door even if Jonker Street itself needs a short ride. Would stay again 👍

SanfentangnaichaOverall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away.
However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about:
1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully.
2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed.
3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy.
4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

SixiangdehudieHotels in Malacca generally seem a bit old and dated. The Courtyard by Marriott, however, is relatively new. There aren't many dining or entertainment options right around the hotel, so you'll need to venture out. It's about a 20-minute walk to Jonker Street (Red House area). The hotel facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the rooms are quite spacious. Luckily, there wasn't any strange smell, making for a comfortable and smart stay, and the TV even has screen mirroring. Since I was traveling with my middle school-aged daughter, I booked two rooms and requested connecting rooms, which the hotel arranged perfectly. The connecting door could be opened, making it feel like a suite, and it was very convenient as we each had our own space for showering and such. The hot water in the shower was excellent, but surprisingly, the bathtub in the king room was a bit impractical, with water splashing everywhere. The room has direct drinking water, which we used to boil water for tea. The front desk staff were quite friendly and allowed us a 1-hour late check-out. We didn't try the breakfast as we wanted to eat at Jonker Street. We also didn't get a chance to experience the pool, which we heard was great, due to time constraints. Behind the hotel seems to be an apartment building, and one evening, we passed by and saw about seven or eight dogs barking and chasing two guests who were casually strolling – quite a fright! A warning: avoid the dog territory behind the hotel.

SerenisyafyHARGA BILIK & PENDAFTARAN MASUK
Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan.
BILIK
Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on.
SARAPAN
Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². Repeat? definitely yes. Moga maju jaya buat The Lisbon Melaka

Anonymous UserThe location is strategic if you would like to go for medical at Mahkota, it was super close but quite far away from the main area like Jonker street. The hotel has a great potential if they really take care of the condition of the room. Our room was dusty even though I have put a note for a dust free room, AC was loud at night even though we have turned it off, water heater a bit off not proper, we are not able to take any pictures but it was room 647. I believe the management can review back and take care of this seriously.

Room was spacious and comfortable which made the stay more relaxing
The highlight was the TV sport channel. Very enjoyable as it coincided with the World Cup season. Will be more entertaining if have TV in the room too.
Breakfast was served buffet-style with an adequate selection of food options. Not extensive but sufficient and satisfying
Overall had a pleasant staycation

mary goslowAbsolutely one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Melaka! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcomed with their warm hospitality and professionalism. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the facilities, especially the swimming pool, were well maintained. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Excellent value for money and outstanding service. I will definitely return to Swan Garden Resort on my next trip to Melaka and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

Overall, the experience was acceptable
the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

jaybbThe good... location is near malls, can walk to heritage sites for tourists, price is not expensive, nearby bus terminal at Hatten Hotel. Good for just sleeping and then do your sightseeing. Aircon works, fridge also halfway there. Plenty of food options all around, convenience stores for your needs.
The bad... dated. While it is still relatively clean, the rooms feel dilapidated. Floors are peeling off, curtains torn, windows cannot fully close off, lights dim. I've found too many bagworms that I've given up on throwing them away - in the cabinet, in toilet.
So, if you don't mind all these and just need an affordable place to sleep, this hotel can be an option. If you are those tai-tai who expects high crass place, look elsewhere. Note: Carpark is linked to hotel at Level 2 & 3.
