ZZijiayouxinlingdeziyouBuilt in 1912, The Manila Hotel exudes old-world grandeur and luxury with its European-style architecture, spacious lobby, arched doorways, massive chandeliers, and wooden window frames. Interestingly, General MacArthur's suite, from the time he lost to General Peng during the Korean War, is preserved on the fifth floor – history certainly has a way of repeating itself... The breakfast selection is quite extensive.

JJA697896While the breakfast buffet was a notable highlight with its quality and variety, my overall stay was significantly hampered by procedural and service-related friction points. Parking: A Major Inconvenience The process for securing complimentary parking is excessively complicated and needs to be streamlined. For a 5-night stay, having to follow these steps every single day was truly exhausting and time-consuming: Validate the ticket at the Front Desk for complimentary status. Go to the Parking Cashier for a zero-value receipt. Surrender this receipt at the parking exit. This multi-step, daily requirement detracts significantly from the convenience expected of a hotel in this category, and I urge management to simplify it for long-term guests. Front Desk & Check-In Issues Service at the Front Desk also presented some challenges: The check-in process was not smooth and took longer than expected. I often had to wait for an extended period for the front desk to answer my phone calls, which was frustrating when trying to resolve issues or make simple requests. Value for Money The breakfast buffet, while excellent, is priced quite high, making it feel less like a value-add and more like an excessive cost for those paying in addition to their room rate. Overall: The quality of the breakfast is great, but the cumbersome parking procedure and the inconsistent front desk service created daily friction that significantly impacted the overall comfort and convenience of my extended stay.

IitsreallyjaineStaying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

KkakigansauLocated on Ongpin Street, very near to all the popular Chinatown f&b oultlets and opposite to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Saint Lorenzo Ruiz (Binondo Church) so you wake up to the sounds of Church Bells. The Hotel is quite dated but clean, would have been a great hotel during those days. Staff are friendly and approachable. Just a heads up; they require a deposit per night. If you have a credit card you can pre-auth. Since I stayed for 1 night, I put 2000 piso cash for deposit. A family who checked in before me had 2 rooms for 5nights, had to put deposit of 2x5x2000piso=20,000piso (325usd).

The hotel strikes a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern comfort, creating a welcoming atmosphere the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering a relaxing retreat after a long day. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail—from the amenities to the housekeeping—made the stay feel effortless and luxurious. What truly sets Century Park Hotel apart is its service. Every member of the staff was professional, warm, and genuinely eager to help. From check-in to check-out, I felt well taken care of, with requests handled promptly and courteously. The dining options were another highlight. The food was consistently delicious, well-presented, and offered a great variety to suit different tastes. Whether for breakfast or a leisurely meal, the experience was excellent. The hotel’s facilities are well-maintained and add great value to the stay, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Combined with its convenient location, Century Park Hotel makes getting around easy while still providing a peaceful place to unwind. GGuest UserOverall cleanliness was good, but some details weren't cleaned thoroughly enough. 1) Hair in the room 2) Floating debris in the kettle 3) Btw, All the staff were very patient, and the food was quite good. I'll come again next time, I really like it here.

GGuest UserStayed at Rizal Park Hotel and it honestly felt like stepping into another era—very Somewhere in Time kind of vibe. The building itself has a lot of character, which makes sense since it used to be the old Army Navy Club (built in 1911), and you can feel that old-world charm throughout the property. Location is a major advantage—right beside Rizal Park, near the US Embassy, and overlooking Manila Bay. Great for staycations, especially if you want that sunset view. Convenience stores are about a 5-minute walk away, and food delivery is easily accessible. We booked a junior suite and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was notably fresh-smelling, which stood out. Bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, and Wi-Fi was fast. The pool area was a highlight—relaxing with a great view of the bay, especially at sunset. The hotel also has a gym and sauna; we were able to use the sauna, which was a nice addition to the overall experience. Most of the staff were friendly, often greeting us with smiles and good mornings/evenings, which made the stay more pleasant. Special mention to Ma'am Jenna from the amenities building—very friendly and accommodating. There were a few instances where some staff didn't greet, but overall service was still warm and welcoming. That said, the building does show its age in some areas. There were occasional noises at night (likely ongoing maintenance or renovations), and some facilities feel dated—TV could definitely be upgraded to a smart TV. We also noticed some ceilings and walls with visible cracks and signs of mold, which could use better upkeep. Breakfast buffet was okay—decent, but not a standout. Overall, still good bang for buck. Best suited for staycations or travelers who appreciate historic hotels with character rather than modern luxury. Would definitely come back.

BBen-HurReview for Rosa Garden Hotel: 5/5 Stars I had an amazing stay at Rosa Garden Hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how spacious and well-maintained the property is. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury and affordability, making it an ideal choice for both short and extended stays. Room: My room was large, clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The modern amenities were all top-notch, and the bed was so cozy I almost didn’t want to leave! Staff: The service was exceptional. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and attentive to all my needs. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about providing a great experience for guests. Facilities: The hotel offers everything you could need—whether it's a relaxing spot in the garden or the delicious food at the on-site restaurant. The whole place had a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. Location: Conveniently located, the hotel is close to popular attractions while still providing a quiet, relaxing retreat. All in all, my stay was flawless. I had absolutely no issues, and everything exceeded my expectations. Rosa Garden Hotel is truly a gem, and I’ll definitely be staying here again. CChekumiGot in our room around 2:30 pm. They seem to be really strict with early check-in unlike most hotels where you can get free early check-in from 12-1 pm. Easy to past time since mall is very accessible. Location is superb. Perfect for Binondo foodtrip. Room is nice for its price, but bathroom shower area can use some improvement. Jacuzzi and sauna area smells and doesn’t seem to be regularly cleaned. Feels unsanitary so we didn’t bother using it even if we wanted to. Wish they had a swimming pool.

GGuest UserThough the rooms need renovations and better cleaning, this is a budget hotel, after all. So, you will get what you paid for. The best part of this hotel is the location within Intramuros. Despite the hot and humid weather, I was able to walk to key sites withing Intramuros. The reception seemed to lack in its tour arranging ability, but I was able to charter a TukTuk at a nearby museum, to go all the way to Malacañan Palace area.
