Hotels near Oita Fragrance Museum, Beppu

We were met by polite and efficient staff who could converse in English. We were given a tour of the place when we checked in. There were video games, manga, eating and Onsen recommendations, free self serve water, soft drinks, coffee, tea, cocoa and corn soup in the common area. Bicycles, indoor and outdoor slippers are free to use. Free parking is available on site. Our en-suite family room was very spacious, 2 double beds in the living room/ kitchen and a separate room with 2 single beds. Everything was very clean and the beds were firm and comfortable. No check out procedure required. There’s Don Quijote about 2 buildings away. I’m definitely coming here again when I next visit!!!

It's very clean!! I am the type of person to easily get rashes when strangers touch me, but I had no issues staying here. The staff also upgraded my room 🥰 The location is very very good, just a short walk from the beppu train station, where you can take a local bus to the jigoku tourism onsens. The private onsen was hard to get when I stayed, you really have to monitor the availability on TV. I would suggest that you try afternoon for the private onsens when people are either out or have checked out of the hotel, as they seem to be very popular at night.

The location of the hotel is very good, right next to Beppu Station; I arrived by direct bus from Fukuoka Airport, the fare is 3250, and I got off the bus and walked for 7-8 minutes, but it took three hours on the road; Hotel mini single room with double bed. The hotel has a hot spring bath which is very comfortable. The water in the room is also from the hot spring ~ Breakfast is okay, I can eat enough, but it’s too early~ Let’s have some snacks in the evening…there are convenience stores and yakiniku restaurants nearby, so it’s very lively More than 400 a night is still pretty good~

It is good sense when I am flowing BGM with analog records at the front desk. And Tatsuo Yamashita's ride on time is too good sense. The photograph is the lounge on the 10th floor, but you can use the space freely while listening to analog records. I can't go back and forth between baths, but the inner bath is also the best. The breakfast was delicious and I was able to start the day with the best feeling. The parking lot is large and easy to stop, and the price is reasonable for the sightseeing spot and the volume is quite good. It was a hotel that was easy to use for business, couples and families on any layer. I would like to stay again.

The Japanese room style is huge. It can fit 10 people. We are a family of 5 and we have plenty of room for my children to explore and enjoy the room. Even the room is old but clean. The style is very traditional and we love it. We stay on the 2nd floor but the view of the sea is nice enough. Breakfast is not bad with variety of food, lots of Japanese style food. Staff are super nice. The hotel is a bit far from train station but within walking distance. Overall is great with this price.

For those driving, please note that there are limited parking lots behind the hotel building. If it's full, you'll need to park at the multi-story car park beside the hotel, which doesn't come with a lift. Several convenience stores are located nearby the hotel. Overall, the check-in experience was smooth. However, the wait for the lift is quite lengthy, as there are only three lifts serving all customers. It took me 10 minutes to go down during peak hours.

I would like to comment on this hotel again. No matter from the sanitary facilities, environment or service, it is impeccable. It looks simple but has everything it should have. The cleanliness is 100. It is a typical Japanese hot spring hotel. In this not cheap town, this hotel is a little more expensive on weekends. It is only 500-600 meters away on weekdays. It is 5 minutes away from the station and convenient for travel. Quiet and comfortable! The proprietress is gentle and abides by the rules + 100 points. It is a 5-story inn. To commemorate the anniversary of its founding １１１, there was a free beer drink service in the lounge. It is a long-established inn in Yufuin Onsen. The customer service of the front desk staff was polite • and kind. I was able to answer the difference between Yufuin and Yufuin properly. I stayed in a large Japanese-style room on the ５ floor. When I opened the curtain, Mt. Yufu was approaching in front of me. The bathrooms are not unit-type, and the bath • Toilet • wash basins are independent. Supper is a summer Oitagawa kaiseki course. All the dishes were delicious. In particular, the dishes that left an impression on me were grilled on a Japanese black beef hoba miso ceramic plate. The warmed miso has a hoba scent, and the slightly sweet taste goes well with the beef. The more you want to refill it with an exquisite taste. Breakfast is buffet style. I was satisfied with the local menu of Oita Prefecture, including dango soup. There are two indoor baths in the large hot spring bath with a spacious space. There is also a whirlpool bath and a Louis Bosti hot water of the incense hot water. The open-air bath has natural rocks on the side facing the garden. The hot water temperature is a little hot and has a feeling of slimy. What is it in the indoor bath! Yunohana. Yunohana, which crystallized the hot spring ingredients, was in bloom in the bathtub. The hot spring is a good proof. I was able to stay at this hot spring inn and became a good memory of my husband and wife trip.

This made it incredibly easy to explore the local area and find delicious dining options for dinner. It was like having the best of Oita right at my doorstep! During my stay, there was an unexpected earthquake, but I was so impressed by how the staff handled the situation. They kept everyone informed and checked in regularly to ensure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference during a challenging time. And let me tell you about the incredible assistance I received when my car ran out of battery. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me out, contacting the necessary services and ensuring everything was sorted out quickly and efficiently. It was such a relief to have their support. In conclusion, my stay at Dormy Inn Oita was nothing short of amazing. From the warm hospitality to the comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfast, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The large open-air bath overlooking Mt. Yufu has the best atmosphere. It's warm, so you can soak in it leisurely. For men, there is already a １ or a small open-air bath that is hot and can be used by the bridge. I stayed in the main building. It is a building with a considerable age, and although it is undeniably old, the toilet has been renovated and cleaned well. The dishes were basic plans, so there were no high-class ingredients, but I was satisfied with the contents that I could feel politeness. Finally, the response of the employees was very good and made the impression of this inn very good.
