"A funny experience. The KdF history of the buildings was an interesting backstory for me. But it was all very expensive. I paid £200 for the room plus there are a ton of additional charges: parking 20 euro per day; use of pool and sauna? 10 euros; tourist tax.. Given the cost of the room the additional charges seemed greedy. Room and breakfast were ok but the poor quality towels and lack of daily cleaning seemed another cheap shortcut. Helpful front desk but nobody on duty until late afternoon. Next time I’d stay in nearby Binz."

"I ended up in Binz spontaneously and stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I had a spacious ocean view room with separate living area and balcony and I loved it. The hotel is separated from the beach only by the pedestrian promenade and very quiet. The AC in the room was working well. Unfortunately, due to the many mosquitoes in the area at the time, I did not want to keep the windows open at night. The atmosphere and the food in the bar/restaurant was excellent, as well as the breakfast buffet. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Very convenient location and the elevator was also helpful for me. Overall my short stay at this hotel and in Binz was great! Would definitely return!"

"The location is fantastic, only an 8-minute walk from the train station, and the hotel is right in front of the beach. Breakfast is quite rich, there are coffee and cake in the afternoon, and a buffet for dinner, so you'll never go hungry. The 30℃ shallow pool plus the sauna are incredibly comfortable; it's a real treat to soak in after a hike. There are many activities that I didn't have time to experience due to my short stay, but the impression was excellent, showing they are serious about their business. It seems to be an older hotel, but it has everything you need, operates well, and the service is professional and on point. Highly recommended."

"We had one of the apartments on the ground floor. The mattress was past its best. I have never experienced anything so saggy. The room could have been cleaner, especially so simple. The kitchen was so-so, the microwave hadn't been cleaned properly for a while. The rest of the room was fine, apart from the bathroom, which is where you want to clean yourself and feel comfortable. The shower was full of deposits (mold and shower residue). We went to Lidl on the first evening and bought cleaner. It soaked for half an hour and the shower was clean (which is the worst thing about it). So in a nutshell the bathroom and kitchen are now clean. Because we cleaned everything. We didn't have the nerve to keep changing rooms. And it only took a few simple steps to clean everything. I think that's the worst thing. The breakfast in the adjacent hotel was amazing. And the staff were very friendly and really on the ball."

"A very beautiful house. Excellent rooms, very good service, which we were able to experience at breakfast (!) and at the bar. Breakfast chef Torsten was able to give us some good tips at the breakfast buffet. Beautiful wellness area and excellent treatment in the spa. Worth every euro! Small note: As regular guests, we missed the convenient butter machine at breakfast, the "ice cream scoop" was inconvenient, you had to wait longer and the consumption (because there was too much in the scoop) was greater."
