Boscombe Spa Hotel

A very pleasant stay & great hospitality + BIG thanks to Raj for the lovely breakfast

We arrived on Thursday morning 26th September at 10.00am. Went to our room. The shower was not working. The regulator didn't allow us to alter the temperature. Coming out very hot. The heating was not on. Very cold room. The owner trues to find a working heater for us. But couldn't find one that eas working. The WFI was not connecting up to our phones. The curtains were not thick enough and didn't go around the corner of the window so we weren't able to sleep peaceably the first night as due to it being too light. The double bed mattress was not very comfortable when my wife lied down on the bed. So we didn't even stay a night there. But luckily we never paid for our stay. That was the only bonus we have that we left and gave our keys back to the property perpriators. We will not be returning to this hotel. We really didn't want to write this review but the other hotel said that we needed to write however bad orgood the hotel was.

Lovely spacious room, wardrobe and chest of drawers for putting clothes in obviously, comfortable bed, very clean room, only one downfall no hot water, and pressure from tap was poor, but the owner explained why and tried his best to make it better, and the owners were so lovely a couple, would stay there again only for short stay,

I had to cancel my booking for health reason, but they were so understanding and helpful. Whilst I didn’t stay I will when I rebook. If the hotel is like their people it will be first class. They have good manner and are very honest in their business. On booking it looked very good value.

Nice hotel run by a lovely couple, comfortable bed clean , light and airy room , they left water and tea, coffee facilities, nice shower my only criticism is I would have liked a slip mat in the shower as it was in the bath , fifteen minute walk to the beach close to restaurants so all in all a good mini break , would definitely recommend too family and friends

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Location to Beach and 02 was great. Able to leave car there and walked everywhere. Must like walking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and hospitality. Approachable to talk too. Planning to come back for the Air show.

Ok hotel Great location to town and beach Awful decor and poor accommodation but lovely lady running the place - couldn’t fault her ! So helpful! Just needs an overhaul Ok for a night out to get your head down but tiny dark room with no space ….like student digs ! Summary: great location and hostess but poor quality accommodation

Amazing find although still a working progress - Raj was lovely - location very quiet but a short walk to the beach and town - breakfast was offered at an additional price and the breakfast room looked bright and inviting but as we are not early eaters we did not have breakfast but it smelt good ! Our room was spacious and had a lovely comfortable chair in it - all very clean and the bed was so comfy - shower very powerful but sink taps no pressure - for the price we paid it was exceptional value and having stayed at quite a few hotels and paid a lot more and had a lot of issues I would definitely recommend this hotel - good luck Raj and your family and soon it will be perfect x

Upon arrival we felt instantly welcomed by our host who unfortunately we didn’t get the name of but wish we had as he was wonderful! He was incredibly understanding of our purpose for travel which was a concert at the o2 and made us feel at home. The room was a good size, slightly smaller than expected however everything was incredibly clean and the refreshment table was well stocked (a necessity for us tea lovers!). Bathroom was sparkling and couldn’t fault our stay here. Would highly recommend.
