Despite bathrooms and toilet down the hall, they were clean and organised and convenient. All staffs were friendly and helpful. The space for networking at the basement is probably the hidden gem. For the price you pay, the rooms and convenience and comfort was unbeatable.

The room is quite decent, typical of an American inn, but the service is great. The front desk is as welcoming as a family member, and they even helped me buy NBA tickets. Especially the lady at the front desk talked about my dear, which is so heart-warming... Also The two men were a little lacking, but the overall situation was still good. The buffet breakfast options were enough to fill you up. Compared to the room rate, the complimentary breakfast was so delicious! The key is the underground laundry room, which is Virgo’s favorite. I will stay there again if I have the opportunity. It’s so convenient to have a self-driving car, and the parking fee of 20 US dollars a day is also acceptable😍😍

Although I stayed at this hotel for only 12 hours, the room was quite spacious and confortable and equipped with everything I needed to stay for one night. As I needed to leave the hotel at 5am and could not have breakfast as it started being supplied from 6am. However, staying at this hotel was still worth the price.

It's an 8/10 level four seasons. The doormen were very nice and welcoming, check-in was fast and they gave all the necessary info about this hotel. The room was not prepared as requested but this got fixed soon after we enjoyed dinner outside. The breakfast was amazing, lobster scrambled eggs and bakery were all very tasty. The swimming pool is large enough, without kids. But the water circulating system was not well-designed, so you might feel the cold and warm alternatively. The lounge at the lobby level was used to serve afternoon tea and happy hours. By the time we were there, it was a noisy party. Luckily, the floor was high enough, so I never felt bothered. The location of this hotel is very close to the prudential center, as well as Newbury Street. It's easy to get everywhere in Boston. Before the reopening of Fourseasons Boston, One Dalton would still be the ideal place to stay in the city. Chantal, if spelled correctly, is the warmest and best waitress. Thanks for your service.

Did I spend roughly $50 (pre-tax & tip) on a lobster roll and a glass of prosecco? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. I'm going to touch on other aspects of my stay, but I can't believe how many fresh tasting, big, succulent chunks of lobster were in this hotel lounge lobster roll. It's cold & mayo based, which I know isn't for everyone (I see you got buttered lobster roll people and I understand completely; I'm just an equal opportunist when it comes to lobster rolls), but it was really good - like, not good for a hotel lounge, but good good. Yum! Ok, so why 4 stars? If it were based on the hospitality of the staff alone, I'd give it 6. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely affable - some were more outgoing than others, sure, but I appreciate mellow kindness. Also, this might be the first time I've remembered to pack all of my extra little charging stations, and I didn't even need them. So many conveniently placed outlets and USB ports - and the main room light was warm toned and welcoming, which is also a little treat :) I had to take away a star because of the general noise. My sleep wasn't disturbed, because I always travel with hardcore ear plugs and a sleep mask, but I couldn't close the curtains all the way (even with the pants hanger clip trick) so there was light coming in, and I could hear everything in the hall. Also plumbing noises (like pipes pinging and gurgling - nothing alarming, just...mildly intrusive). I was also disappointed that there wasn't a laundry bag or dry cleaning service like there are in the other Marriotts I've stayed in; I want to call myself out on not going to the front desk to ask specifically for this, but every other Marriott I've been in has a laundry bag with a dry cleaning order form in the closet. There also weren't any extra blankets in the closet; again, I didn't ask the front for one (and I'm sure they would have given one to me) but I wish there had been one in the room as it was super comfortable until I woke up at 2 am - which is really late and inconvenient to realize you need extra blankets. Ok, so that's why I took away a star. The other 4 are for the friendly staff, incredibly convenient location (anywhere I didn't walk, I took a Bluebike from the stand right outside), gorgeous fitness center (Pelotons?! What?!), and general cleanliness. If I come back to Boston/Cambridge for work, I'm 100% staying here. (If I come for pleasure, I'd probably try a quaint inn or something, but honestly I'd likely stay here the final night of my trip because it is also FIFTEEN MINUTES from the airport. But with a great river view, and no plane noises.) More on the location: walk to the river, and across the Harvard bridge. You're literally right there, and it's a great way to see the city (and while there's a CVS across the street, the one over the bridge is in a historic building. I have been coming to this LaQuinta for 3 years now and the experience gets better and better. I would say cleanliness was tops, my room was fantastic I would say the location of the toilet paper roll could be better spot than where mine was in 210. Other than that, the room was clean and I had full amenities in my room, had a desk to work, the bed was great and presentation was great. Great internet, only trick with my Mac had to force the sign on screen, but that is a common issue if you travel. Love the location you are walking distance to the T on the Orange Line and so many good restaurants.

The short version is I enjoyed my stay and it was like staying in an upscale version of an Aloft hotel. The long version starts here: I came up and stayed for 5 days for Tufts graduation weekend in May 2022. Staff was friendly upon check-in. I tried to do check-in via the Marriott App and was successful to an extent. While I was able to use the App to open my room door, you need an actual room key from the front desk to use the elevators, gym and pool area. So just using the Marriott App was unsuccessful and abandoned. I was assigned a room on the 4th floor. The room is self is modern in appearance and was very clean upon arrival. There was a small fridge along with coffee and tea maker available. There wasn’t a lot of drawer cabinet space available (2 drawers) but there were a sufficient amount of surface area, plus the room had a 2nd bed that I wasn’t using that I could just put my clothes on. In addition to power outlets there are USB ports available both by the desk and in between the beds where you can recharge your devices. Coffee, tea and water were free and always available by the front desk. The Wifi at the hotel was complimentary and had good download and upload speed. There were also 2 complementary iMacs in the lobby to use. Parking at the hotel is $25 a night, the breakfast buffet was an additional $20, and there is no daily house keeping service. That being said, there are small signs hat you can leave on your door if you need additional towels or just stop by the front desk to get additional anything for the room. Just for informational purposes, across the street is the Alewife Reservation DCR parking with 8-10 parking spaces where you can park for free for 2 hours when exploring the Alewife Reservation “AREA”. About a 9 minute walk from the hotel is the Alewife T Station where overnight parking is $9 M-F and $3 overnight on the Weekends. The room will be serviced by housekeeping on the 4th day of your stay. As I mentioned, my plan had me there for 5 days. While the room was serviced on the 4th day of my stay. I think it would have been more efficient for housekeep to service the room at the midpoint go my stay (day 3) rather then the day before my departure (day 4). I also mentioned that the breakfast buffet was an additional $20. That being said, they sometime offer a complementary breakfast buffet in the restaurant. I’d guess your chances are 1 in 30 maybe. There would be a sign outside the restaurant if that is the case. It happened to be on my 2nd day there, and I thought the breakfast at the hotel was very good (while yes it was also free that day). There were freshly baked goods as well as 2 different types of baked omelets, cereal, eggs, yogurts, and various beverages. Check-in was easy as I had already checked in online through the Marriott app. I had a suite which was perfect for the three of us. It was nice to have two TVs and two thermostat controls. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn't use anything except the coffee maker. The bathroom was large and had a shower/bath combo. The room smelled very clean and I saw no dirt. The breakfast in the morning had a lot to chose from and was included in the reservation. All of the staff was friendly and the hotel seemed fairly new. There is also a bar in the reception area.

I stayed here one night during both my trip from El Paso, Texas to Rockland, Maine (stopping overnight in Boston) and again on my way back. It isn't a fancy hotel but it is a great ”commuter” hotel. Despite it being right next to the airport, I never really heard anything during my first stay when my room was at the front of the building (Room #312), and was only faintly aware of the planes taking off on the second night when my room was on the backside of the building (Room #213). The rooms were impeccably clean (even the windows which were crystal clear) and comfortable. The bed was ”comfy cozy”, and the shower was the BEST I have ever had in a hotel. The personnel were friendly and efficient. Ryan, at the front desk was especially understanding and helpful in getting my boarding passes for the next day's flight printed for me (I'm a ”senior” and go old school in wanting printed paper boarding passes). I would also like to give a special ”shout out” to my shuttle driver, Carolyn, who was especially outgoing and friendly (while still maintaining a constant watch on traffic). Speaking of the shuttle, they were very helpful and spot on when giving me directions as to how to get from my arrival gate at the airport to the spot where their bus would pick me up, and the bus arrived within the time frame they promised. Because of my experience with this hotel, I will be booking the Hilton Garden Inn at Sky Harbor Airport North in Phoenix for my ”stop over” nights during my Hawaii trip next spring.

About a 30 minutes drive to downtown Boston with trafic. All the commodities at a fair distance. The hotel shows signs of getting old, but it’s overall really clean. Personnel was very kind. Breakfast is satisfactory. Beside the hotel is a bowling place with arcades.
