"The room honestly exceeded my expectations. It was extremely clean, you could really tell the floor had been properly mopped. As someone who has a dust allergy, I usually sneeze easily in dusty rooms, but during my stay here I didn’t sneeze at all, which says a lot about how clean the room was 😄
The room facilities were also very complete — slippers, safety box, mini fridge, super cold AC, and a shower with 3 shower head options with stable hot water. Even the small details were impressive, especially the toothbrush. It felt premium and the bristles were soft, which made it really comfortable to use.
The staff were also friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I had a really comfortable experience and I’ll definitely come back again if I have any business in the PIK area. Please keep up the great quality 👍"

GGuest UserI stayed at Keraton at The Plaza from 2–5 April and overall had a pleasant experience.
The service was great throughout — staff were generally attentive and professional. I opted for the full board service, which was excellent and definitely worth it. The food was enjoyable, and while the spread wasn’t huge, it was sufficient and satisfying. I also appreciated the high level of security at the hotel, which made the stay feel safe and exclusive.
That said, there were a few downsides:
During my stay, there were ongoing renovation works and the noise could be noticeable at times.
On 4 April around 11pm, I ordered food via Grab/Gojek, but the security did not allow the rider to enter because he was on a bike despite heavy rain. The situation wasn’t handled proactively, and I had to go to the front desk myself to resolve it and retrieve the food.
The room had tiled flooring, which made the floor quite cold when the air conditioning was on.
The swimming pool facility is shared with Grand Hyatt, and it requires quite a walk to get there, which may be inconvenient for some guests.
Overall, still a good stay with strong service and dining, but there are areas that could be improved.

DDaniel Lee SB2night stay at Discovery SCDB to attend a conference in Jakarta.
Booked a twin share room and this was the most unique and well designed twin-share room I have ever stayed in! 2 beds but with a separator and individual amenities for each person! 2 of almost everything including desk, TV, wardrobe & even separate wash basins! Room was clean. Wifi was stable and fairly fast.
Morning breakfast was booked inclusive and is a free-flow ala-carte breakfast ordered from their menu. Food was tasty and the restaurant ambience and service was excellent.
Check-in was very straightforward and staff was friendly, helpful and most importantly, spoke good English.
Location was excellent right in the middle of the CBD next to a huge shopping mall Pacific Place.
Overall an excellent stay. Will definitely return when next there. Highly recommended.

HHiva Journey “A Journey Beyond Destination”I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The staff made me feel very welcomed and were always ready to assist with a smile.
The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. All facilities were well maintained, including the gym, swimming pool, and public areas.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the high standard of hospitality throughout my stay.
Thank you to the entire team for providing such an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers, and I definitely look forward to staying here again in the future.

GGuest UserChecking in was decent, we had to wait 20 minutes for the room to be ready and to be fair it was new year's eve on Dec 31st so can't complain. The room is modern and upscale with a touch of traditional Indonesian heritage design. What I love most is the bed and bathroom..especially the rain shower plus the water pressure is perfect. We also received complementary cocholate as well to celebrate new year. Lastly breakfast menu was good, they served western and Indo menus, pastries and desserts. Overall was excellent.

CCarol Lim KHI booked a stay at Ascott Kuningan Jakarta for my boss and client, and overall, the experience was very positive.
The location is excellent, especially for business purposes. It is situated in the Kuningan area, which is convenient for meetings, offices, and nearby shopping malls and restaurants. This made it a practical choice for a business trip.
According to their feedback, the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. As a serviced residence, the facilities were well-equipped and suitable for both short and slightly longer stays. The environment was also quiet, allowing them to rest well after a full day of work.

MMike MCYSI had a very enjoyable stay at Ascott Jakarta. The room was exceptionally spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment after a day of exploring the city. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
One area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, as a wider variety of options would enhance the overall experience. Nevertheless, the quality of the stay, the large room size, and the comfort provided more than made up for this. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would gladly return on my next visit to Jakarta.

GGuest UserA mixed bag of feelings here. I thought I was feeling lucky when they told me at check-in that I was getting a complimentary upgrade (to Deluxe) Unfortunately I was plagued with a number of recurrent issues. The room itself is very nice (311), best thing about it was the bed and the views into the city by the window. With that said, it did have a number of issues, so it was not the finished article in my mind (the safe locked without instructions, the wooden strip on the floor coming off making me trip, the kettle malfunctioning, not hot water on the basin, so had to use the kettle to shave daily) When I arrived, it had not been fully cleaned (see pictures) All of these were actually minor issues vs. other stuff I experienced, I didn't make much of it as I was getting an upgrade. The problems came a few days later when it started raining, and suddenly I was getting sore throats in the room with the temp marking almost 25c and the air con off. I had to take mucolytics and anti-flu tablets cause I was getting a bad cold there. I was wondering if the air conduct were releasing bad spores into the air because it was so tatty (pictures attached)
So with no heating, I got cold there with 27c outside, I find this very very strange.
But the much bigger problem was a few days later when I was hearing massive thumps, bangs and wall stomping from the room right above me, they had placed a family with 4 kids on top of me and it went on at all times in the evening. It got so bad that I requested a change of room, and surprise, they gave me a really REALLY bad downgrade to the 17th floor in a much smaller room, on a really grotty floor that looked like a 2 star highway motel. I thought maybe they were penalising me. The staff at reception told me the next day the people checked out, but the same noises continued another 2 days, so they lied to me or they placed another family with noisy children. The floor on top is super thin. You can hear anyone walking as if they re stomping on it.It will drive you crazy. I also heard people next door hammering something at 1 am in the morning for two nights straight. This hotel has big structural problems. I don't pay $520 to get tortured, it felt like it at some point.
On a separate note, the breakfast service was more like a brunch, very varied and many choices (except for meat and fish that was very underwhelming) They had a temp control management problem, there were mornings when I touched the trays and they were at room temp. Also the plates for the hot section are not heated, so that with the powerful air con overhead translated into your hot food going lukewarm almost immediately, which makes it taste disgusting.
It was only the last 2 or 3 days when I started placing my plates on the griddle for a few mins with the staff's permission, when I could finally start eating hot food. Due to this, I was getting ”stomach runs” every single day after breakfast, except for two days. This is a breach of H&S
So there are several issues that affected my health here.
The restaurant and cafe in the evening had some good meals. The Mexican had some Western tucker that I enjoyed, my last meal (Mexican enchiladas) was underwhelming, felt like cantine food that was microwaved and badly, because I had to send it back for being lukewarm.
Overall I cannot recommend this hotel due to numerous health problems I suffered. I also discovered that if it weren't for the upgrade, I would have been given a horrible room like the one I saw quite possibly.(the room I received cost almost $1000 for two weeks, still very overpriced) This wasn't cheap, and I feel it was so expensive for what it was. Definitely not a 4 star, a 3 star is more befitting.
The staff was mostly corteous, And premises are up to standard only in places. The gym was very nice. The pool area nice with some views, if only a little tiny..

MMilo S.The hotel has a fairly good location in central Jakarta, making it convenient for shopping and getting around the city. The room was decent overall, although it felt a little outdated.
The biggest issue during my stay was the noise from motorcycles on the main road outside. The sound was extremely loud and could be heard clearly inside the room, making it difficult to sleep at night. The lobby was also quite small, and the breakfast area felt crowded and chaotic, with not enough tables available during busy hours.
However, despite these issues, the staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience much better.
