I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is just next to the station. We arrived by train on a windy and rainy day and were thankful that it’s just a short walk to the hotel. The room is spacious and the onsen is nice. The carpet is stained but we understand it’s common for hotel after some years. The hotel staff were helpful when we enquire about directions and asked to borrow umbrellas too. Though it rained on both days that we were in Hakodate, we still enjoyed ourselves using the city tram, which station is about 3mins walk across the Jr station. The market is also just less about 3mins walk away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with the hotel and will stay here again if ever return and will recommend to friends.

XINNKONGThe staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay very comfortable from check-in to check-out.
The location is excellent, only about a 3-minute walk from the tram station, which makes getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants nearby, so finding food is never a problem.
The room was clean and well maintained, and the onsen was very nice and relaxing after a long day.
Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Title: Hakodate hotel review 😭 one day is definitely not enough!!
I rarely write reviews, honestly 📝
But for this hotel, not writing one just wouldn't do it justice 🔥
I loved every minute of my stay in Hakodate 💙
This little city itself is so beautiful and peaceful ~
The hotel seems like it might have been an old building before 🏛️?
But it's been renovated with such great taste, really stylish!
The room was very quiet, slept so comfortably 🛏️
And the location is super convenient!
📍 Very close to the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses
📍 Not far from the nearest station
📍 And there's a supermarket nearby too!!
And! The room was really, really clean 🧹
I've stayed in many hotels in Japan, most are quite clean
But I can always tell where they cut corners, if the corners are dusty, I notice it immediately 👀
This place was genuinely clean, the sheets even had a fresh scent
You can tell the staff takes cleaning very seriously 🧼
Service was also amazing ~
The guy who helped me check in was so welcoming and friendly 🥹
It's a shame I could only stay one day 😭
Next time I definitely have to stay longer!! #Hakodate #HotelReview #Travel

I'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!

A rare find at this ocean-view hot spring hotel! Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the sea, daydreaming, or chatting is simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we had a dedicated butler who escorted us to the large lounge for check-in. While their English wasn't fluent, they could communicate in Japanese and Chinese using a translation app, and were very responsible in repeatedly confirming our reservation times. The private hot spring bath we booked was excellent in both its environment and facilities, and both the indoor and outdoor public baths offered ocean views. Cleanliness was impeccable, and the ocean-view room was enormous; we even had albatrosses visiting outside the window. The kaiseki cuisine at breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing—delicious and beautifully presented—I was extremely satisfied!

Anonymous UserThe hotel boasts a stylish interior and a beautiful sky lounge offering stunning night views of Hakodate. Its location is excellent, with easy access to the Hakodate Morning Market and the Red Brick Warehouses, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also provides onsen facilities, which are a great addition—though I didn’t get the opportunity to try them during my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

We took the NA yellow line shuttle both ways, it was 450 per person and you can pay with cash or credit card. There were snowy views right outside the window. Staying in the West Wing meant we were very close to the hot springs, though the sulfur smell was a bit stronger there. For the Japanese-style room, someone came to set up the futons between 6 PM and 10 PM. There were about 7-8 hot spring pools, including outdoor ones. Soaking in the hot springs while looking at the snow was incredibly relaxing. We booked both breakfast and dinner buffets, and they were decent.

Kudos to this hotel. My stay there was amazing. The hotel is close to streetcar station, but during winter it still pretty challenging to pull your luggage. That is expected situation for any hotel in Hokkaido 😆. The receptionist was really helpful. She help to call taxi for me when I don’t know how to do so.

The staff at the inn were warm and moderate, and I was very comfortable.
While there were many non-smoking rooms, the companion who was a smoker was very happy.
In addition, the correspondence of the odor remaining in the room is also firm, and I think it can be comfortable.
It's a hot spring, but you can get the power of the source.
It is a hot spring of great satisfaction!
I want to enter again ♪
