Great value for money! It's cheap and even includes breakfast. They arranged the room exactly as I requested (high floor, away from the elevator, not a corner room). When I chose not to have my room cleaned in the morning, they still hung a bag with fresh towels and a new trash bag on the door. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The lovely old gentleman serving as at night was one of the best front desk staff I’ve ever met.
We originally planned to arrive at the property in the afternoon. However, our flight was cancelled and we had to seek alternative, delaying our arrival time until 23:00. When we arrive, we thought we will be self-checking in. But as we step inside the property from a heavy snow, we saw this kind gentleman waiting for us right at the door. He greeted us, helped us check in, and explained everything clearly. He offered us free flow free drinks and free ice cream (which was also very tasty) When we wanted to have some late night snacks bought from a convenient store, he also helped us reheat the food. 誠にありがとうございます!
Everything else was great as well! The room was comfortable, the breakfast was yummy, and it’s so nice to have a hot spring after out in the cold for the entire day.

Love the hospitality of the team, makes us feel welcomed! The room is very decent, the complimentary breakfast is amazing!! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hakodate, the Izakaya next to the hotel is also highly recommended! The tram is just outside the hotel, lots of great restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel also provides umbrella for free use, which is extremel thoughtful and highly appreciated!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hokke Club Hakodate. The location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the large public bath, which was perfect after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Breakfast offered a great variety of local dishes, and everything was delicious. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay there again when visiting Hakodate.

Anonymous UserBy Japanese hotel standards, the room was surprisingly spacious. We were able to open two large suitcases at the same time and still have enough room to move around comfortably.
The location is also very convenient. The nearest tram station is about a 5–10 minute walk away, while the airport bus stop is only around 3 minutes from the hotel.
The hotel does not offer breakfast, but I would especially recommend trying The Hakodate Morning Market for a great start to the day and one of the local ramen shops for lunch.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Goryokaku tram station. There are convenience stores, a Loft, and Starbucks nearby. It's also not far from Goryokaku Tower, where you can find Lucky Pierrot burgers and Shunka Sushi. A slightly longer walk will take you to Rokkatei for some delicious pastries. I arrived early and the staff kindly stored my luggage for me. They even provided pajamas, which was a lovely touch! 🥰

Tatiana AnashkoThe hotel is conveniently located, literally about 5 minutes from the station, which is great if you are travelling with luggage. The room had the basic essentials, and the area is surrounded by many restaurants.
However, for the price, I expected more. The room for two people was extremely small: basically just a bed, a very narrow table with almost no usable space, one chair, and a fridge. The space under the bed for suitcases is a smart idea, but it does not really solve the problem, as there is simply nowhere comfortable to sit or spend time in the room.
Another thing I found strange was that there was a Bible and The Book of Mormon in the room. At first, I thought previous guests had left them behind, so I went downstairs to ask, and was told that this was official hotel literature. I found this confusing and unnecessary.
A charger was also provided, but it was not clearly marked as a hotel item, so at first I thought it had been left behind by another guest and that the room had not been cleaned properly.
The hotel provides various disposable amenities, but surprisingly there were no toothbrushes.
Overall, the experience was not great. The location is convenient, but the room size, check-in experience, and some strange details made the stay disappointing.

The location is excellent, just sandwiched in the middle. I entered the room before 14 o'clock, and thank you for the front desk. The bed was small and the room was small, but just an area was empty to spread out the large suitcase, and the design was very good. The warm light effect is very good (in fact, it is 2 bulbs 💡) The hand sanitizer smells good. Disadvantages: Dry laundry

YZKWe stayed at LC Goryokaku Hotel during our family trip to Hakodate and were pleasantly surprised by how well it suited our needs. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Goryokaku Park and the Tower, which made it easy for us to explore the area with our kids without needing transportation all the time.
The room was clean, spacious enough for a small family, and had thoughtful touches like slippers, toiletries, and even a small seating area where we could unwind. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet at night, which made it easy for the children to fall asleep.
The hotel also offers free drinks in the lounge, which was a nice touch, and there's a laundry area, which is very useful when traveling with kids.

どべらーUsed this place for my trip to Hakodate! The 100 yen per use parking was a nice touch! I stayed in a dormitory room, and it was surprisingly spacious with lockers, towels, and even a TV – definitely a Japanese touch. There's also a supermarket within walking distance. I even found two yakitori places open until late! As a night owl, the only downside was the bath closing at 10 PM. On the bright side, you can start using the bath from 6 AM!
