Amazing
GGuest UserNothing but good things to say about the Bedrock Hotel. We were actually across the road from the hotel itself as we had one of the junior suites, which are in a newly refurbished building. The suites are fabulous, they are very roomy and very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The bathroom itself was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have had recently and the thoughtful addition of a water filter that provides hot, cold or ambient water to order was priceless. The suites do not have kitchenettes (although they do have a small fridge) they do have a coffee machine, cups, cutlery, plates, bowls and even wine glasses in the same cabinet as the fridge, all of which came in very useful. The bed was also super comfortable and the AC worked well too.
We had originally tried to book in the Old Town itself but there was limited availability, the Bedrock was a great second choice, as it was just a short 10 to 15 minute walk away and the breakfast was great too.
GGrace PangiranWe stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable.
From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip.
All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable.
We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding.
A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!).
The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night
It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special.
Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

SSuzyPCEverything about this hotel was great. The atmosphere was noble and elegant, and the restaurant food was delicious. The sky pool was a major highlight! We booked a deluxe room with a jacuzzi, which our child absolutely loved. The only minor drawback was that the executive lounge only offered a small selection of snacks and coffee, with no sodas or juices. This wasn't very kid-friendly for families. The executive lounge could definitely be improved. We would still love to come back and stay again if we get the chance.
SShimchimHad a pleasant stay at Hotel Kinta during my recent trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located in a very convenient area—easy access to shops and food spots nearby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the buka puasa experience. The atmosphere felt like the classic P. Ramlee & Saloma era—very lively and nostalgic. There was a live band and DJ that made the night even more happening, and the hotel staff really entertained the guests which made the whole experience feel warm and memorable.
Special shoutout to Prem, Adji, Feri & Zack for the great hospitality and fun vibes throughout the night. They truly made the buka puasa experience more meriah and enjoyable. 🌙✨
Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting and looking for a place with good vibes during Ramadan.
JJasvindersangayClean king suite. Good location near Tasik Cermin & caves. Easy access to restaurants. Good staff. Recommend some basic toiletries- cotton buds , separate shampoo & conditioner. Tv channel for kids only 1. Some channels a bit blur.
KKarFooI have been staying in this hotel for a few times. Location is my primary factor although there are many traffic lights along the way. The location is simply strategic and it is surrounded by convenience stores, malls, restaurants and many more. It is suitable for a simple stay. I am definitely satisfied by the good water pressure and room size. However yesterday my stay was not pleasant. The air condition was not good - It was not cold. Because we were too tired, we did not bother and the sleep was not good. Surprisingly it was back to function upon our departure. 😅 Otherwise the stay was still pleasant.
AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful and comfortable, and all my requests were attended to promptly. The staff were friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The food was good and satisfying. My favorite part was the lobby — it smells amazing the moment you step inside 😍 Highly recommended for a pleasant and relaxing stay
GGuest UserGood and strategically located 5-star hotel in the heart of Ipoh. Granted that it is a bit old but room and hotel were clean and staffs were nice and helpful. Very near to many nice dimsum restaurants (photos below).
MMT&SINThe room door was incredibly difficult to open. If I hadn't been with my husband, I would have had to call the front desk every time to get into the room. The room itself was spacious enough. For a twin room, there was only one bedside table and a single power outlet on one side. The bathroom amenities were just average. Overall, the in-room facilities and supplies were decent, not inconvenient. I was a bit disappointed that the pool entrance door wouldn't open, and looking in, the pool bottom appeared green, as if it were unclean. The breakfast offerings seemed to be all Malaysian food, but there are plenty of options near the hotel, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly.
