CCHEWLocation was great and within 10 mins drive to all the popular eating shops and 15 mins to shopping area of Ipoh city centre. Free car park helps a lot and we enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool with nice aerial view of the mountains at the background. Host was responsive as they only had 3 mugs for our booking for 6 people. When we requested for more, it was brought to us quite promptly. Except for the kitchen and dining area which is a little cramped and a huge stain mark on the kitchen flooring area, it was perfect as the place was clean.

AAnonymous UserThe experience of checking in was seamless, we just need to get the access card and keys from a nearby safety box outside a shop walking distance from the resident's guardhouse. Pin was provided during checkin time. Early checkin will require a fee eventhough it's just 1 hr. Fair enough, it's business I understood. Unit was clean in general, though we accidentally found some (most likely filthy) sheets under the sink cabinet. May be they just lack of time to send it for laundry. Able to see Kinta River from Balcony and the rooms. Quite good for a reasonable price. It is a bit out of the busy area of town, if yoi thought of just walking as the main mode of transport, it might not be suitable. All in all, we like it there as it's peaceful, everything works in the unit but just need to be abit careful as the ramps at the car park was quite narrow. Unit should be able to accomodate 8 pax as it comes with 2 folded mattress placed inside the wardrobe of master bedroom.

AAnonymous UserThe homestay is very spacious and clean, making our stay comfortable. An extra bed was provided, which was very convenient, and having a washing machine was a big plus. The condominium itself is nice and well maintained. Customer support was fast and responsive, and everything was well arranged from pre-stay instructions until checkout.
A deposit is required to be prepaid, which was handled smoothly. The only downside was that slippers were not provided in the house. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend this place.

GGuest UserHuge thanks to the host for being so accommodating and resolving the deposit issue for us. The swimming pool was fantastic, I really enjoyed it. There was just one downside: in one of the rooms, there was what sounded like a water collector or something similar? It would suddenly make a booming noise, making it impossible to sleep. Luckily, there were three rooms in total with plenty of beds.

GGuest UserFour people booked a 4-person room with a loft. The house is very beautiful. The downstairs is indeed decorated in a European and exquisite style. It is very photogenic. However, the loft is small and only has a mattress. The mattress is very soft, so the two people sleeping together affect each other, resulting in poor sleep for two nights. The location is relatively remote, about 1.5 kilometers away from Lao Huang Ya Cai Chicken. Taxi drivers often can't find the place. Local friends who drive to find it will go the wrong way. There is no food, drink or entertainment within a radius of 1 kilometer, and it is dark at night. The hygiene and service are good, and the front desk girl understands Chinese.

CCatherine scI had a generally pleasant stay at this homestay. The unit was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby amenities. A special mention to the security guard downstairs, who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the overall experience even better.
However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low—so much so that it made showering quite difficult and uncomfortable. Additionally, for a two-bedroom unit, only one access card was provided. This was quite inconvenient, as the card is required not only to enter the unit but also to use the elevator, making it challenging for multiple guests to move around freely.
Overall, while the stay was comfortable and enjoyable in many aspects, addressing these issues would greatly enhance the guest experience.

TTerence Yong RenThe property is a newly built bungalow just beside a hill and a temple. there are plenty of local foods around within a few minutes of walking distance. the check in check out is very simple, and the host and caretaker are friendly. since it's slightly further out from the city, the air is fresh especially so because we are beside one of the big hills.
One downside: at night, there will be a low pitch humming, which I presume is the pump running for the water tanks. it didn't bother me, but soundproofing could be improved for the rooms.
there's enough parking at the property or beside it for about 6-7 cars, so no issues there.
