"This cafe-cum-hostel is very community oriented; immediately when I did my check in process I was introduced to their WhatsApp group which will broadcast events they organised such as movie nights and city walkabouts. The staff also eagerly showed me around the hostel space as well as my assigned sleeping pod. Shoes are to be removed before entering the common hostel area which helps to improve cleanliness. I’m given a side entry sleeping pod so it is much easier for me to enter and leave my sleeping pod as well as to charge my devices. However, towels comes at an additional cost of RM 5, using the hostel’s laundry machines is an additional RM 18, and shower gels are not provided for, so please bring your own shower gels in advance. The shortfall is made up by having free flow drinkable water near the entrance of the hostel area as well as being its own cafe which I can have my breakfast at without leaving the building. Didn’t get to try the public bus nearby this hostel as my friend told me that I must wait under bus shelters to use their public buses which I didn’t see any during my short stay. However it is still accessible by walking from Ipoh railway station. Overall, I think this hostel is great for extroverts and backpackers."
