AAnonymous UserExtend our second night here because the stay was so comfortable and affordable. The hotel is clean, modern, and feels very new. Quality of everything was surprisingly good, from the bed sheets, towels, even the hangers.
Amenities provided include 2 bottles of water, shower gel, shampoo, and tissue box.
They also have a paid self-service laundry area with an Electrolux washer and dryer, which is very convenient for longer stays. I was also impressed by the pantry room with SK Magic water dispenser, microwave and iron provided for guests.
One area that could be improved is the security access system. The main entrance and lift already have card access systems installed, but they don’t seem to be functioning yet. Since the area feels quite quiet at night, it would feel much safer if card access for the entrance and lift were activated.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean and suitable for a family trip with a spacious living room. Rooms are very comfortable, got shower gel and hari dryer. Is also got gym room and swimming pool at level 12. Sure will visit for next time!

GGuest UserFor the price, I think it is a reasonable option. However objectively:
1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking. The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about. To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.
2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews. However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.
3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both. They only cleaned 1. I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.
4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.
5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.
6. The staff were helpful and friendly. Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).
7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible. It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.
All in all, it was a decent stay. Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.

GGuest UserStayed at Hotel 1969 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite and kind throughout our stay, especially the concierge, who also acted as our airport transfer driver. Although I did not get his name, he was very responsible and ensured we arrived at the airport on time.
We also enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off, which was perfect and satisfying. The hotel location is very convenient, with many coffeeshops nearby.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return again.

TTravelABWe really liked this hotel a lot. On the groundfloor of the hotel there are shops, 2 restaurants, very convinient. There is a 10% discount for guest if you will eat there. Everyday cleaning, welcoming letter, staff was very friendly. Hotel has laundry room, gym. Cool design.
We Highly recommend it.

GGauthier AhnThere was a misunderstanding about the tax that was paid twice, by card first, then by cash but the owner refunded me, the 10 rigngits.
The glass on the nightstand was broken.
The shower flow was irregular.
The other visitors were quiet at night.
They forgot to put a cup next to the kettle....
You can get free water on the ground floor from the dispenser.

NNzet1996Got a short trip to Ipoh and choose Zone Hotel Ipoh. The location is nice where it is just 15 mins from Ipoh city central and nearby to plaza tol. It feels comfortable to stay with clean room and quiet environment.
