Amazing
GGrace PangiranWe stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable.
From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip.
All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable.
We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding.
A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!).
The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night
It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special.
Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.
AAnonymous UserI stayed at Mu Hotel recently and extended my stay for a third night because it’s clean, comfortable, and the bed, pillows, and linens are high-quality and cozy. The staff are friendly, making it a pleasant stay.
A few things could improve: during check-in, more info would be helpful—like the water dispenser is downstairs, the hair dryer must be returned at checkout for the deposit, and there are no tea bags or coffee provided in the room.
Overall, highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay!
DdhilaIt's a new place, it's like service apt near ipoh town. to find halal food u have to drive off away a few kilometres out from hotel. or just take order from food hailing. inside soon will be convenient shop. so u can buy maggi for alas perut😂. i love stay here. there's a few booth that u can ootd whether at top floor or 2nd floor. will repeat again next time
GGuest UserFor the price, I think it is a reasonable option. However objectively:
1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking. The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about. To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.
2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews. However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.
3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both. They only cleaned 1. I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.
4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.
5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.
6. The staff were helpful and friendly. Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).
7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible. It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.
All in all, it was a decent stay. Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.
TTobeThe hotel facilities are brand new and security is excellent. There's a bean sprout chicken restaurant right next door that I highly recommend! The owner speaks Cantonese and a little Mandarin. Be sure to order the bean sprout chicken and the meatball soup.
GGuest UserStayed at Hotel 1969 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite and kind throughout our stay, especially the concierge, who also acted as our airport transfer driver. Although I did not get his name, he was very responsible and ensured we arrived at the airport on time.
We also enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off, which was perfect and satisfying. The hotel location is very convenient, with many coffeeshops nearby.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return again.
GGavin L.The hotel arranged for us to stay in a corner room which has weak WiFi access. I didn't have WiFi for the entire three nights stay. Furthermore, the bed was rather hard and the room was rather small. However, the hotel provides excellent breakfast and is located at a very strategic location. The hotel is very close to the Ipoh parade and within 10 mins drive to famous tourist spots like concubine lane. Overall, the experience was just alright.
Hhuynh nghi dinhIt really like a box haha, there’s weird smell when i first enter the room. Was lucky enough, the staff offered me free upgrade to queen size bed haha. Not sure why the TV wasn’t working the time i am there though. All the popular spots around. It only good if you have short stay and just need a place to to store your stuff, cause it a little stuffy for me
IilkashongThe location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient.
House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toilet’s door.
Not much soundproof, you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by.
The design of the car park is a nightmare. It’s octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go.
The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I haven’t checked if I received the return).
MMaifarah NadzirahThe hotel location is excellent, very convenient for business travellers. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities provided were good. Service was average, could be improved with faster response from staff. Overall, a comfortable stay and good value.
