Excellent location, just one step away from the historical centre and famous fish markets. Oversized rooms with exquisite attentional to detail with all the amenities expected from a 5 star hotel. Most importantly was the warm welcome and incredible personalised and competent service. Highly recommend staying here for a true boutique hotel experience.

We had an early flight from Catania to UK at the end of our holiday so we decided to travel from Taormina to Catania the day before, so we could see some of Catania before flying home. For a quick visit you could not stay in a better location. We arrived just after 1pm, were shown round the property and then got into our room. Very contemporary and stylish. We dumped our bags and set off to explore. Everything we wanted to see was close at hand. In the evening we strolled out to a small restaurant. The hotel arranged a taxi in the morning and we got to the airport 15 mins later. Sadly we missed breakfast. But we did enjoy our complimentary prosecco when we returned after dinner. I loved the aqua di parma diffusers around the hotel. Heavenly scent! Great location. Lovely staff. Comfortable room. Worked perfectly for us as a one night staff over.

Very comfortable bed and room. On a quiet street close to the popular palazzo. The building is old but the interior is new. The staff is very helpful and helped me get an airport transport very early . The staff helped me get clothes laundered on an expedited basis. The room has marble floors and allows the guest to control the room temperature. If you are going to Catania, you should stay here.

Palazzo Marietta is one of the most special places we have ever stayed. The room was very modern and comfortable despite being in an old historic building. The staff provided exceptional personalized service, especially Renato. And the location cannot be beat … mere steps to the center and our room had a lovely view of the duomo.

Heavenly, from the welcome to the availability for any request! Very beautiful place, very clean, very fragrant, refined and exclusive. I loved every detail, the breathtaking ceiling with angels, the floor... even the fixtures, which thanks to their ability to absorb sound vibrations, I slept without being disturbed, in my reigning world! excellent overnight stay, I recommend.

Very curious luxury hotel. It is on a floor of a mansion located in one of the main squares in the center. Rooms very well decorated in a modern style, with all kinds of details in the toiletries. The breakfast area is small so they can't have a buffet, so they ask you to order breakfast the afternoon before and they serve you what you ordered. The treatment of all the staff was great, kindness and absolute availability. It was a very pleasant stay.

Location is as central as can be, literally a stones throw from Piazza Duomo. Rooms very nice. Pleasant common area with snacks and wine. Very friendly and helpful staff (gave good restaurant recommendations). THe only downsides are that they don't serve breakfast. I can see that they don't have the facilities to do anything like a full breakfast but a cup of coffee and some bread or pastries in the (very nice) common area would be a nice touch. Also it might not be a place if you have heavy luggage or impaired mobility. It's in a partially pedestrianised zone so taxi access to the door might not be possible. Also whilst there is a lift from the ground floor to the entrance (1st floor) there is no lift in the hotel and the stairs are quite steep. But these are minor issues, this is a really nice and characterful hotel.

Joli petit hôtel historique de 7 chambres Accueil professionnel, aimable et sympathique. Belle chambre moderne. Bonne litterie. Très calme malgré sa proximité immédiate de la place centrale, très animée le soir. Nous y avons séjourné une nuit avant de prendre un avion vers 11:00. L’hôtel est à environ 25 min de l’aéroport. Nous retournerons volontiers dans cet hôtel.

The service and attention to detail here were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, including one person who went way above and beyond and helped my wife sort out a problem with our airline reservations. From the welcoming glass of wine, the morning coffee and croissants, and the beautiful room, the experience exceeded our expectations. With a location in the heart of Catania with a view of the Duomo, we were just a short walk from numerous restaurants and night life. We did use their valet service, as parking in this central area is challenging. We would certainly stay here again.
