The Neighborhood Hotel Lincoln Park

This hotel is in a great and convenient area. But we had a bad experience as the wall unit air conditioner/heaters were not working. You cannot actually call someone for assistance, it’s all by text/email, therefore there is always a wait in communication. They did send a maintenance person to the room and he tried his best to fix the units. He was very helpful and personable, but the fix was only temporary and they eventually had to put a window unit in the bedroom. But the other two rooms were warm the whole entire time and the units that were on, made noise. They basically said if you want you could move hotels and that they would refund our money. I felt this was not a great solution as we were traveling with two other couples and we had a very packed itinerary for our trip. We would not have been able to research accommodations, move all of our stuff and still be able to take advantage of the schedule that we had for our trip. We were a couple staying in the apartment and they had five hangers for us to hang our clothes. We were there for five nights and this was not sufficient. We ended up going to target and buying hangers so that we could hang our clothes. There are no other places in the apartment to put clothes as there are no dressers. They also did not give many towels. You had to wash them if you want to have clean towels. I would not recommend this hotel. I can’t even imagine staying there during the winter and the heat is not working, as the units are for both air-conditioning and heating.

Delightful stay at the Neighborhood Lincoln Park. We had everything we needed for the few days we were there. Although is was unusually warm…85+ each day, the rooms were so comfortable and cool. Left our car parked at the Garage across the street for the duration through the parqEx app and that was great. Walked to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field with no problem (we are ages 78 and 80). Used Uber when going downtown and found the people so helpful Check in was smooth and the management kept us informed of all procedures upon arrival and departure. Such an iconic building that is so tastefully maintained.

Really enjoyed everything About the stay. The room felt safe, comfortable, and I appreciate all the little details ( like the olive oil😎). The management was helpful and responsive. Neighborhood is GREAT. The stairs were a bit of a challenge. They were digging up Clark street, so at times the street noise was a bit much. Would 100 percent stay again -

Excellent room, clean with kitchen and washing facility. Location direct to the Lincoln park is great: restaurants, beach, park - everything there. Only 15 minutes ride to the city center. And then all options of Chicago are open for you! We recommend to stay here!

Our family's recent stay at this small hotel in Chicago's Lincoln Park was fantastic. The location is unbeatable—a short, scenic walk to Lake Michigan, yet right on Clark Street with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery and retail stores right outside your door. Despite being so central, the hotel was remarkably quiet, allowing for restful nights. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chicago!

This apartment hotel is located in a historic five story building (witn no elevator) that has a history of serving as a hotel, rooming house/apartments over its long history. The room was very nice, clean and modern, equipped with a sitting room with tv, a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, range, microwave--even a toaster. The bathroom had a well-functioning shower and a compact washer/dryer. The bedroom was comfortable, and the closet was a bit small. The bed was firm but comfortable. Despite the Clark Street location , the apartment was very quiet. There was a minisplit a/c in every room which worked well. A very convenient location (a block south of the intersection of Clark and Diversey) for visiting the Lincoln Park/Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. It is a neighborhood where a lot of young professionals reside--the area felt very safe and is very walkable--even to the lakefront. Neighborhood restaurants, a Target, Starbucks, and Trader Joe's are all very close. Very convenient public transportation via bus and 'L' to downtown Chicago--also taxi and ride-share services. I would not recommend arriving via a private or rental vehicle, as public parking in the area is extremely problematic--meters, permit residential parking and tow-away zones. We ended up parking (at a price) in the underground lot of the highrise condo that one of our friends we were visiting lived in. The only other issues I had were with the check-in process. On the day of my arrival, I received a mobile text link to an online site where I was to upload a photo ID, my signature and a selfie. For some reason, I was unable to select the 'reason for visit', and the form would then not submit--a problem with just my phone, perhaps. I called the number on my reservation and the agent asked me to send the info via email. I then received the keypad codes for the front door and my room--there is no on-site reception desk or other common areas. When we arrived, there were several other guests who seemed to be having trouble entering the building--when we figured out the keypad instructions, all was good! For the area, I would consider this facility a very good value!

Great home base for a 5 day visit to Lincoln Park! Close proximity to my daughter’s apartment on W. Wrightwood and walking distance to so many places to explore! The Lincoln Park Zoo, North Beach, the Lakefront Trail, Oz Park. Easy access to Home Depot, Target, Trader Joes! And so many great restaurants like The Brunchery and The Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Co. The hotel room itself was clean, comfortable, spacious! Lots of great amenities and loved the in-unit washer/dryer! Easy check in and check out. Great communication with owners! I’ll be back!!

Fantastic location, clean and comfortable. Ubers always close by, we walked the mile to Wrigley two days in a row, and tons of places to rent a Divvy bike. A little noisy at night with the traffic below, but the sound machines in the bedrooms helped. The only thing missing were usb ports for chargers (I left mine on the plane and had to get one from the 7-11 across the street!)
